Title: Anyone have Butterick 5656 in their stash? Lost instruction sheet...
Post by: gem on July 02, 2013, 11:36:41 PM

I used this pattern ages ago for my FIL's first garb, and I wanted to take a peek at the hat. Alas, I'm missing the instruction sheet for the hat construction! Does anyone happen to have a copy in their stash and might be willing to snap a couple of photos of that section? (I found a review (http://sewing.patternreview.com/review/pattern/51670) that indicated that her copy was missing the hat pattern, which is weird. Mine clearly includes it; I just mislaid the last page of the instructions. In 2006, so I'm not holding out a lot of hope that it will turn up!  ;))

Thanks!!

I have it but it is at home and I'm not right this moment.
Title: Found it!

Thanks, Pinn! But good news: I found it!! Oddly, it was in exactly the most logical place (the pattern envelope for the other pattern I used for his garb). When does that happen?!

Just out of curiosity, though, I would be interested to know if yours came with the hat pattern. I thought that was weird.

Thanks!
