A while ago I came upon a thread discussing decorative bodice lacers. I can't remember exactly which thread, or how I got there. A comment was made about alpine lacers, and no longer being available. I found some on RenaissanceFabrics.net. I purchased the antique gold for a German leaning gown.

They are also available in antique silver. The website has a nice variety of fasteners.
Great find!
Renaissance Fabrics also carries large and small plain lacing rings in (IIRC) brass and silver (nickel? steel? Silver colored.). I have ordered from them several times--both fabric and findings--and have never been anything short of delighted with their products and services. They also send free fabric swatches. I especially love their wool flannel.
Those look like the loop sides of this clasp:

You could use them in a pinch if you get 2 sets.
Joann's has them on sale $1.50 pair right now, in gold or silver.
Pillaged village has them too.
These exact clasps are on my profile pic, on my bodice and on hubby's doublet.
I found the clasp sets on Patterns of Time and etsy. But, I only wanted the part with the lacing ring. These were $3 a pair.
This is what I have in mind.
