Title: Veterans marching in the Nov. 10th noon parade
Post by: mpullen on November 03, 2013, 05:02:43 PM
Looking for veterans interested in marching in the noon Saturday parade.

I've tried to contact my local AL/VFW posts, but the links are bad.

This is not a for-sure thing, as I need the numbers first before I can request TRF management permission.

I need the info by this coming Thursday earliest. If you are a member of the American Legion or Veterans of Foreign Wars, please pass along to your associated bases/posts.

I must have the numbers by Thursday afternoon at the latest.

My husband is a Navy Veteran with Honorable discharge. We will be there on Saturday and I would love to see him participate!

Is there anything specific that they will need? Being a veteran I know many, but not sure how many I can possibly wrangle up at the last minute.

I'll be there Saturday.  Army vet, 11 years.

And Saturday is the 9th, not the 10th; just want to make sure we get the date corrected.

For the veterans interested, I'll station myself by The Globe stage around 11:15 to answer questions and point people to the staging area.

I'll be wearing my blue submarine veteran vest to make it easier to spot me.

And yes, it's Saturday the 9th.
