Title: World of Warcraft: Where Are You?
Post by: SirBlackFox on July 13, 2008, 10:35:36 PM
I've been playing over 3 years now. . .no cheats. . . .I work through my all my challenges one at a time. . .no groups (no dungeons). . .  I enjoy the "release" of being away from m'life. . .  what about you?

I'm level 54, Rogue, Human, on the server Sisters of Elune

Anyone else having fun there?

Lvl 66 Alliance Priest - Nordrassil
Lvl 48 Horde Warlock - Mok 'Nathal
Lvl 21 Alliance Mage - Area 52

Like you, I solo and skip the instances. While I've had fun a couple times in instances, the complete misunderstanding of classes and extreme greed on pick up groups turned me away from parties.

Hi, I'm Graziella (and Lutfen, Zanzeah, Guzel).  I'm a WoW junkie thanks to my husband and kids.

Graziella is my main.  Lvl 61 rogue
Lutfen  Lvl 51 Resto Shammy
Zanzeah lvl 37 Priest
Guzel lvl 32  Hunter

all toons on Suramar

I do very few instances for the same reasons.  People want me to heal them up so they can take all the goods.  Not a lot of fun to me.  However, I have been playing with my brother, steadily bringing up brand new toons together.  That has been a lot of fun.  A great chance to reconnect with him and do a lot of laughing.

Lvl 70 undead warrior here, on the Argent Dawn server.

Have several other toons as well, but the highest lvl of those is on 35.

Finally starting to get into low level raiding.  Went to Kara for the second time this weekend, and almost went to Mags.

I take it the people who say they don't like grouping aren't in a guild?  I've never had any serious class or loot issues during guild runs, but I have the few times I've tried to pug.

For the Horde!

I've been in one good guild, we had some good instances before the GM hit lvl 70 and was only interested in heroics. For some reason it fell apart. Other than that, I've been in several guilds where I might as well have been pug. I run solo now.

I've been playing, albeit inconsistently, for almost two years on Moonrunner.  Staliar is my main; she's a level 70 Rogue.  Kaiphone is my secondary; she's a level 30 Warlock.  I have also have an auction mule, and a few experimental lowbies.

I like questing on my own, although my guild is very supportive when it's time for instances.  I'm not into PvP because people take things too personally and trash-talking gets silly after a short while.  I also shy away from pick-up groups for similar reasons.

Just a recovering addict here.  Was a beta tester, and playing well over the first year after it was officially released.  Got tired of waiting for the expansion and all the other problems that were associated with new games, and finally got my life back after kicking the habit.   ;D

Recovering addict here too. Though I was once Huli, lvl 70 rogue Uldum.  I was in an awesome guild that manage to balance the whole hardcore/casual thing well for the longest time.  However, I had a lot of real life stuff going on and had to finally quit.

I've been playing along with my SO since open beta (that's over 3 years now, eek).

I have 4 70s (two mages named Sheepnbeauty, a druid named Bluegenes, and a pally name Gwenling- but I Tony plays the pally now, I can't stand her). Also, there are 3 other characters that range somewhere between 60-70.

My boyfriend has like 6 or 8 70s (I'd have to log in to count them), but he had a lot more playtime in the last two years because I cut back significantly during the end of my pregnancy and after the baby was born.

We used to be full-time raiders on Dunemaul (my mage was in Onibatsu, who has cleared every boss in the expansion). Now, we tinker a bit on Veknilash, but there are no serious raiding guilds here (ours transferred servers to try and get more raiders)-- we stayed here and pretty much farm kara and heroics and occasionally pug a larger raid.

**shameless begging here**

Anyone have a 70 hoard 'toon that they no longer play?  I want to get back in for the new expansion but it requires a high level 'toon to be of use... I would cover the cost of the xfer and even throw in a small donation for your efforts  ;D ;D

Yes, I admit, I am lazy

Or iffn you were to want someone to take over your account I could do that too... ya know... public service... aid in the recovery process  ;D ;D

Good luck with that. A friend of mine mentioned today that he needs to spend more time with his family, so he's selling his lvl 70 undead mage. Only $500. ::)

Seen the new recruit-a-friend incentive yet?

get a friend to get a month subscription, you get a free month.

Get them to get a 2 month sub. and you get a free, exclusive Zebra mount...

anyone want to take up the habit?  ;D ;D

I've been playing since the game began. Played many different toons and leveled most to 70. I always take a summer break from the game so It doesn't wear me out but it is getting a bit old. I am currently playing a Horde Shammy on Earthen Ring in the AIE guild which has over 4600 members so finding friends to play with is never a problem.

I'll probably play through the next expansion pack but if that doesn't impress me I'll end up leaving the game. The new Diablo looks promising though!

I'm on Eonar with a good Alliance guild (Council of Truth).

Main:
Elanesse - 70 Hunter

Working on:
Elanari - 51 Paladin
Nyxx - 20 Priest

I've been playing for two years or so.  I'd have more 70 toons but I'm a recovering altaholic and I started on another server then moved to Eonar when I reconnected with an old online friend.

My new main is an 80 lock, "Stocknbarrel", on Vek'nilash. I'm enjoying the new expansion, mostly because achievements are a wonderfully addictive form of self gratification.

Yeah when the new expansion hit I thought the idea of the achievements was kind of lame ... now I find myself chasing them .. currently at 1535 and moving. I am working towards two more titles ... Seeker & Explorer as well as the Jenkins title.

Glad you found this thread Yennefer, because I hadn't seen it either.

Ok, here goes...

63 Horde ud lock, Rallaster on Scarlet Crusade with a couple lowbies
66 Horde UD warrior, Hagsman on Tortheldrin with 44 BE pally and a lowbie
Couple Horde mid 20's still on Chromaggus
Lastly, my main server, The Venture Company: 80 Draenai Enhance Shammie Grovdin The Explorer, 70 Draenai Huntard, 61 Gnome DK, 26 NE preist twink.

I shook the actual "addiction" back when I left EQ ages ago.  Now it's just a game.  Usually only group with guildies.  Screen guildies well before signing on.  None of that, "We raid on Tuesdays and Saturdays" stuff for me.  It's well know that I only play as long as I'm entertained.  If it ever starts to feel like work, I am out.  Hence the various servers.  I solo tons, of what little time I play these days, but run a heroic on occasion.  Got to get those Frozen orbs to cap my Leatherworking, haha. 8 points to go.  Maxed cooking and wep skills too.  over 2k in Acheivements.

Over 3500 acheivement points now (yes, I am dork, hear me roar). One of my friends has like 4300 (but she had gear in her bank which gave her credit for old raids, who keeps that stuff lying around?!).

I'm enjoying the new-ish lock. Hopefully they clean up affliction rotations a little bit soon, the next patch seems promising :)

8 to 80, it's just a game.  As long as you are having fun, levels don't mean anything.

Let me know if you need a hookup on any of my servers.  If you come to my main server, I can guarantee you funding and aide.  Not sure of the status on my old servers.  Got hacked at one point and a lot of stuff went missing that I didn't even notice.  Might have cash spare.

I thought I would revive this thread.

I keep going to different faires and the mear mention of WoW invokes mega conversation. Here it goes. To all my WoW brotheren, I invite you to join me in game play.

My level 80 Warrior is currently in a Uber raiding guild "Legion of Angels" on the Auchendoun server.

If you ... yes you! Would like to joing me in game play, I have a level 73 Hunter (Celticfury) on the same server. The guild "The Calling" will invite you in and I will gladly assist anyone in leveling. I thought it would be fun to have a rennie place to play. So again, if you guys/gals want to start a new ton on the Auchindoun server, Alliance side, I will help as much as I can to level up up and also will bring you into our guild. I will also give you some starter gold and get you some bags and such. Just let me know.

BTW, the guild has 4 bank tabs and a VENT account.

Already running 2 (Horde) in a guild on Thorium brotherhood.  My warrior is now up to 63; my paladin is up to 30-something...

I have 2 others (Alliance) that I don't play very often.

really don't have time for anything else & will have to take a break before too long to catch up on sewing projects.

Even less time to play these days.  Need to check my toons though.  Might have mail rotting...

I've got a level 51 NE Druid on Venture Company server, as well as a few other lower level characters mainly for variety.  I just started playing last year and haven't had tons of free time to play, but I do love it when I can spare a few hours to play. :)

OK, I have a 40 undead rogue and a 30 troll shaman on Blade's Edge. Along with a few others under 20 on that server and also on Duskwood.

I have been playing less than 6 months, my boyfriend talked me into it. He has played for more than a year. His main is an 80 warlock. He left the guild he was in with his X and now we have a family guild, and a few friends. My brother and his girlfriend (4 years+), my X and his son, 3 of our kids, me, him, and a couple of friends.

I am surprised at how much I really do enjoy the game, but it is still just a game and I can take it or leave it. But my boyfriend is unemployed and plays everyday. He really lost his cool when someone hacked his account and he couldn't log on for a whole weekend.

I know, and we have had that conversation. I believe now that it was more about the fact that he was worried about someone "raping" his character and vault. This last wekend our router went out and he was fine. The kids had a harder time dealing with no game/internet.
