The Bastrop County Fire Marshal has requested SWFF to enforce fire safety during this coming weekend, due to the possibility of high winds.

Our requirements are firepits totally enclosed and with a fine mesh lid, where embers cannot escape. In addition, a fire extinguisher must be positioned nearby.

In the event the winds exceed safe levels, we will require all camps to go "cold".

Note that as of 3 pm, there is no propane available in the nearby area. Nothing in Bastrop has new or exchange bottles available.
