Title: Simplicity Tudor Dress and Underpinnings patterns discontinued
Post by: gem on March 12, 2014, 08:09:06 AM
This news from designer Andrea Schewe's blog (http://www.andreaschewedesign.com/1/post/2014/03/tudor-dress-and-underpinnings-discontinued.html): the popular Simplicity 2621 (corset, farthingale, smock, etc) and 2589 (gown) are going out of print--so grab them now while you can still get them at chain store sale prices! (Simplicity patterns will be 99 cents March 13-18 at Hancock.)

I haven't made the gown, but the underpinnings pattern is wonderful.

Good thing I have this pattern in sizes from 6 to 24. I also have the Margo Anderson Package as well as the Reconstructing History one.

The Bodice part of this pattern can be adapted in so many ways for a  variety of looks. Does Andrea Schewe plan a new pattern design?

Same here, I have the gown pattern in 6-24 and the underpinnings in both size range, I have never opened the underpinnings patterns.
