For anyone who isn't on Facebook and can't see the invite, the annual open house for the campgrounds is Sept 20 from 1 pm - 4 pm. The group that I camp with is usually there that day and we try to meet for lunch before going. If you'd like to join us for lunch, we're meeting at the Las Fuentas on 1488 at 11:30 am. Hope to see you all there!
Thanks for looking out for us non FB'ers Jess (o:
Too bad The Evil Ones have their venomous fangs sunk into the Book of Faces. >:(
* if I wanted the D-bags in DC to know anymore about me than they already do, I'd send them a telegram*

We should be there, pending any issues

I Like This!
wife and myself plan on going. I hope the weather clears up.
One REALLY good thing about this weather is that we'll be able to see where the water ponds... last year, after the RenNado, i had to cross damn near knee deep water to get from my spot to the rest of our camp.
That's a great point!!!
Just a reminder for lunch tomorrow at 11:30 am at the Las Fuentas on 1488. Hope to see you there!

They updated it and the closure is set for the 25th now and not tomorrow.
We might be running a bit late, got a few errands to run in the morning, but we'll be there with the Spawnlings
Jessica, unless other things have changed, that will mean they are pushing the construction right up to opening. Too close for comfort.

I tried to post this twice but it didn't go through. Something is wrong with my Tapatalk.
Glad to hear that it won't be closed this weekend.
I'm so sad, went to the quickie mart to get tickets and they were all gone (though I did get onto a mailing list, so hopefully I'll have a surprise in my mailbox soon), and the lady in front of me snagged the last of the cool necklace thingies (when there are 3 people behind you, it's really not polite to grab a handful of something and not leave anything for other people standing there...) On the plus side, getting to see the King Midas' Masquerade headquarters was pretty cool!
Yeah it was... Neat venue.
Just wanted to say that yesterday we received the tickets we signed up for at the open house, and we are even more excited for opening weekend to hurry up and get here!!! Thanks to whomever was in charge of mailing those out! :)
