OK, so I found this skirt on pinterest yesterday and fell in love. Need it for a new faerie skirt! Has anyone seen a pattern with at least the same shape? I'm not worried about the waist, I'm not fond of that part and can figure something out but I love the shape of the layers!

It's a circle skirt with an exaggerated hankerchief hem - I wear something similar to work but in a knee length version. All you do is a circle cut out for the waist and then measure down to the longest you want the skirt to be from the waistline. Cut straight across at that point (ie, don't follow the curve as you normally would for a circle skirt). You'll have four points with this method but it's easy and quick!. Cut about 5" or so down from the waistline for your opening to get the skirt on you and add a waistband.
You can also do the trapezoid method but rather than leaving the bottom of the trapezoid slightly curved or straight, you do an exaggerated upside down "U". The problem with this method is you get seams right at the center of the points. However, you can cover those up with lovely ribbons or laces.
The skirt in the picture is about two or three layers of tulle handkerchief hems with one layer of heavyweight twill handkerchief hem.
It might actually be a square (or a couple squares, layered), with the corners making the long pointy drops.
This website has a square skirt pattern generator (http://anelisemadeit.blogspot.com/2014/08/skirts-in-seconds-square-skirt-pattern.html) where you input your measurements and how long you want the points, and it spits back the formula.
Try Googling "square skirt" and looking at the images that come up (many of which are various tutorials). The pix with the generator are huge, or I'd post one here.
Have you looked at SIMPLICITY costume pattern 1550? It appears that the skirt can be adapted for many layers.

Thank you ladies! I knew someone here could point me in the right direction. I keep looking at it thinking I should be able to figure it out! Lady K, I looked at that pattern this morning thinking if nothing else I could use that. Will definitely look into hankerchief and square skirts!
