Title: New Pyrate Radio Station
Post by: LadyJessica on July 01, 2015, 09:58:26 PM
I'm surprised that he hasn't posted it up before this but Jack Gonzo has a new Pyrate Radio station on Spreaker.  You can even go back and listen to past shows.

Actually if folks can go vote for the final logo design for the website today it would be much appreciated.

Tonight is episode 12 of the show, still going strong. There is a chat room function so there is a bunch of us who talk during the show. Also for those who have that itch to get dressed up, drink and listen to music from faire we're doing our first live broadcast from location next Wednesday basically on the campus of UH. Feel free to join us

So it's been over and year and we're still playing. So if you're wanting to get more in the mood for Faire, tune in tonight at 9.

Hey Jack, are the old shows archived anywhere? I see the show notes on the website, but no link to a podcast recording or mp3.

Ok, never mind the last question, I found the list in the player banner, however in case you are not aware, episodes 1, 2 and 3 do not seem to play.  Listening to EP 4 now.

You can also download them on iTunes.

I'll check on 1,2,3 but I suggest the newer ones, far more bands on the show now than when we started lol

Didn't have issues with 2 & 3 when I tried them. One works, but it was a trial by fire so the show itself doesn't really start until 2 minutes into the recording. (Live so no way to edit it after with this set up)

Yeah, Not sure what was happening but it seems to be working fine now. I think it was a Spreaker issue. Seems the applet has some quirks. I'm working on catching up.

Not an iTunes (or any i-Product) fan. Wish you had a standard podcast link that I could use with VLC, but the website is working fine. Been nothing but Scoundrels Inn for the last week (o:

If you click on the episode itself there is a download button that will download an mp3. Not sure why it's hidden so much, but it's there. Funny Germans

FYI: Turns out that spreaker does have a way to get to the RSS feed from any device.  The URL is http://www.spreaker.com/show/1456944/episodes/feed (http://www.spreaker.com/show/1456944/episodes/feed)

Now I can listen through VLC.  Gonna do my best to join ya tomorrow night live. And by join ya, I mean listen in.
