Title: period fonts
Post by: groomporter on July 31, 2008, 09:05:55 PM
Everyone know about The Scriptorium http://www.fontcraft.com/fontcraft/ It's a great site for period style fonts useful for printing out period-looking documents for props, lettering for signs, banners and such like things. There are lots of free demo fonts that can be downloaded.

Thanks for the link!  I'd not seen that site before.  There are 4 fonts I use for various 'period' writing:

Black Chancery
Cloister Black
Sherwood
Viking

I purchased these on a CD of a gazillion fonts and have enjoyed using them.  I'll be heading over to that site to see what other goodies I can purchase.

Thanks for sharing the link groomporter. I like to make homemade cards for birthdays, etc and some of these fonts will be a nice new added touch !
