Does TRF have a Day of Wrong and, if so, when is it?
Not an actual Day of Wrong, but All Hallow's Eve weekend is pretty close, if I'm not mistaken...
*smacks forehead!* D'oh! That makes sense.
Day of wrong??
A day on which one could wear one's Imperial Stormtrooper getup and be just fine. If it would be appalling otherwise, it's perfect for the DoW.
Taffy it doesn't really matter down here...they'll wear the Stormtrooper gear every weekend they're out.
that or there's the guys in the star trek outfits visiting ... a ... strange .... new planet .....

yeah, that's what I was thinking... the umm, let's see, I think 4 weekends that I was down last year I saw stuff that IMHO, was more suited to DoW than just whatever random day at faire.
Seems to me as if TRF is more accepting of all sorts of oddities. Or in some cases, "idiot"ies.
Best thing ever? Storm trooper in a kilt for Highland Fling weekend.

I remember that!
Gawd how funny.
But what someone else said is right. Many days at TRF the DoW people outnumber the Rennies.
Ah, there he is...

See, I kinda like the stormtrooper in a kilt. Seems like the wearer has a good sense of humor.
Someone told me (I think it was year before last) that the stromtroopers were officers.
Not sure but thats what I was told.
Looks more like a ladies' kilted skirt, by the length ;D. Funny as hell, though.
O GAWD -did you see his little tam?

You're not kidding ... and I also saw a guy in a head-to-toe gorilla suit last year (and it wasn't on All Hallows Weekend). ::)
I saw someone in a Furry costume... ::shudders::
And just when I was thinking the Master/Slave kids were oogy. Furries - ewww!
I think there used to be an informal "Gawdawful" day which was the Sunday of closing weekend....
I love Halloween when all the girlies show up in fantasy *yes THAT kind of fantasy* wear and stilletoes. RRRrrrrrRRRRR!!!! *unrepentant leg man here*
For me, every day is a day of wrong!

Blue...... Thats just Wrong. ;D

Hey, they weren't visiting a new planet... I asked. They were on the Holodeck.
So Star Trek crew members are Rennies - Cool!

I thought when ever crew members went on the Holodeck they did it in costume or garb that matched the timeframe/story they were visiting.

Not always, but when they weren't in period clothing the holodeck characters were programmed not to notice.
<----- Wants a holodeck
I've never acutally seen anyone wearing Star Trek, Star Wars, Furries, etc. I've only seen the occasional Victorian and lots of Goths. Must mean I don't go to fair enough. I should work to correct this.
Hey, we get ALL types down here.
The Knight to say Ni is the winner for me - guess it's not 'wrong' but OMG funny
Blue,
We shall certainly see thee at the dragonlords castle. Lord Kilber has agreed to outfit Baldr with new wears this year.

Oh, Great Warrior from The North Baldr,
When you have received your new armor from DragonLord K'Zar, I must insist you come visit me across the way at the Pirate ship so we can outfit you with appropriate new weapons to suit such wonderous armor.

I know this reply is a bit late... but it reminds me of one of the funnier moments from my Thanksgiving Friday visit last year, when The Other Brothers (the first show I saw that day) cracked a joke about it.
Are there in fact faires where Stormtrooper/Star Trek/etc garb will get one turned around at the gate?

A few of the stormtroopers
are cops...they're just not on duty. (Just to clarify)
It's only the Holodeck if they're NG, some of us rock it OG

I know one of the people who dress up in the stormtrooper uniforms and Lady Jessica is right, a few of them are cops in their dane lifes, they are just not on duty.
Not like you gotta worry about them...just wave slowly in front of them and state "These are not the Pirates/wenches/scotts/otherwise drunks you are looking for." Solves everything. Works better if you got a monk in a robe to do it.
