Even if it sucks wind, maybe some good costuming will come out of it.

Point well taken, Captain.  Captain Jasper and I watched "The Incredible Adventure of Mary Bryant" last night.  It was a amde for Australian TV miniseries about the true story of some convicts that escaped from Botany Bay.  It was a decent flick but the costuming was great, at least for ideas.

Fins up!

Missed the first half - I liked the London flashbacks.  Always like to see costuming in large numbers.  The show was - okay.

Very Disney like.  It is a visual pleasure but the storyline and the acting are fair at best.  I will watch the entire series to see if it gets better.

The costumes looked  pretty good. The acting  was good.
It was neat to see Sean  Bean  make a  brief appearance.
My husband and I both found  the story line  hard to follow  at times, especially since  they would  start to go to a dramatic  scene  and  then they would  cut away to  a commercial.  They had  too many commercials,  which took away from the story  abit.   I plan on watching it again though.

The second episode was better than the pilot IMHO.  I think they tried to do to much to start the series.  I have the VCR set to get this Friday's installment.
