Title: Redwall
Post by: RenaissanceInBlood on August 31, 2008, 06:37:30 PM
I didn't really grow up watching the cartoon. I just was channel surfing a year or two ago, and found it. I looked online, and it's on youtube, AND I have several books by Brian Jacques. Does anyone else like it? Who cares if it's a kids' cartoon!

I saw it at our video store in the kids rack (free).  Even though it was a bit more kid oriented as a cartoon and a two part DVD at that I rather enjoyed it.  I had read the book years ago and I hope they would do this in CG like they did shrek.  I do know that Mouse Guard is in the works as a CG so I see no reason they couldn't do this one.

I didn't realize a cartoon had been made but enjoyed several of the books that I had purchased for my kids when they were young.

Brian Jacques is still writing the books. Here's a few videos:

"Cluny The Scourge, Part 1", part 1:

That's the first video in the series. I love the cartoon as much as the books, even though I'm 32 years old. Haha.
