Title: Singer HD-110
Post by: LaurenLee on September 05, 2008, 10:43:14 AM
Does anyone have this machine?  I'v been reading reviews online, and I'm just looking for something with more power; no fancy stitches, not a serger, etc.  I have my older Singer which works for a few layers of thin fabric, but is giving my problems with all the linings and velvet and upholstery-grade fabric for costumes.  It's also in my price range, at $300...with a great warranty, too.

I'd love your opinions...

Lauren

They don't sell that over here, so I haven't seen one.  If you want a tougher mechanical domestic, I'd advise the Bernina 1008.  I hear the Singer doesn't match up to it.  You'd have to try them out and see.  DO try before you buy!
