I was incidentally looking for info on wrap pants and found a company called Purple Unicorn that sells them. The name sounds vaguely familiar, but I'm not sure. Has anyone purchased from them before?
I believe Purple Unicorn is the company famous for their wrap pants!
they're at mdrf and i believe its where my bf's stepdad and brother got theirs, they love them, the folks there are rather helpful too (at least in person) hopefully someone from mdrf who has bought from them will stop by with more.
They used to have a shop at the Ontario Renaissance Festival, before the faire shut down. That was five years ago now, and I know people who still have wrap pants from them. Comfy and sturdy- what more could you want?
I still wear stuff that I bought from them 18 years ago, so they don't fall apart on you at least.
I got my cloak from the Purple Unicorn and I LOVE it. I know lots of people who have gotten wrap pants from them and all have said nothing but good things. So, I don't think you have anything to worry about. They are well established with a good rep.
As you can see, they've been around for a very long time. I've never actually bought anything from them, but I never fail to browse through their shop at Maryland Renn Fest every time I go. If you read their history, you'll see that they're a family run business, and they seem to have a good reputation. I'd have no qualms about buying from them.
