Be warned! Closing weekend approaches with all of it's many invaders from nearby shires. A large group from Pittsburgh's Morelandshire plans to descend, as well as folks from our neighboring sister shire of Avaloch (Great Lakes). Not to mention several others from neighboring shires. We are a thirsty and shopping-hungry lot so be forewarned. Barkeeps and vendors make ready! Just ask Lady Guiness and Scotsman - they know us well.
As far as the roll call, I shall start it off....
Scarlett
Morwyn & Himself, The Brad
Syrac
DuCouer
Capt. Morgan
Dwynn
Mehan & Ewan
Scotsman & Lady Guiness
Amras Elfwine

Invaders - add your name in this post and I'll update the list it as we go...
Bring it on lass! I know the GLMF folks are coming too Capt Morgan/Dwyn as swell as Mehan & Ewan.
Nice Freudian slip..... I think Ewan is "swell" too! ;D
Yep, we will be there - and Ewan was just asking last night if you were going to be able to get "he who is still Brad" to come along.... he will be pleased.

ROFL!!!
I will, of course, be there, and quite "swollen" by 1015.
Prince Oswyn and Queen Anne will be there both days - which goes without saying ;)
Scarlett~ we are looking forward to hosting you ALL! It is going to be an absolutely wonderful weekend. I am looking forward to it. *look out everyone we are about to be invaded!)
We are, mostly, Kindly invaders who drink and shop (and in my case) eat in excess. Is that a problem???
Lady Guiness are you ready to share another platter of mussels From O'Shucks?? Oyster shooters and clams on the Half shell...And of course returning to the White Hart. My taste buds are a tingling.
17 Days and counting!!!
But Mostly, above all else (it could eoccur in someones back yard), I am looking forward to being reunited with "my Family."
Sorry Scotsman, I do not think you can use me as a Tax Deduction...just slighly *ahem* above the age limit.
Yes DuCouer I am most definitely ready to share a platter of mussels! I can hardly wait to see all of my friends in one place especially when that place is our wonderful shire here in Md. We promise that everyone here will take care of all our special guest and make you feel at home in Revel Grove. ;)

Himself, will be in attendance.....I'll be there too if any of you remember me... :P
Yes indeed, Dwyn and I shall be there for I doubt anything could keep us from our Faire Family and the wonderful hospitality of MDRF! Being run through the mill these past weeks and it shall only escalate which will make our time at MDRF even sweetier!
(counting the days, but hoping they don't go too quickly to give us enough time to set up the exhibition!)

OMG Capt. Morgan!!! That exhibit looks to be right up my alley! I am a collector of all things Tiffany - including the old stuff. Could never afford the Faberge but think it's beautiful nonetheless.
I may just have to plan a trip up there in time to make the exhibit. Methinks I shall speak with you further on this matter when I see you - my interest if definitely piqued!!
Ahh yes...it is certainly chock full of "bling" to be sure....sorry to say tho' such is my exposure to all of it that it is wearing thin like partaking of too many sweets...but it will be a beautiful show!
Oh - I'm CERTAIN it will be absolutely fabulous!!
I'm seriously going to have to see about paying a visit. I will be in Ohio for a few days around Christmas - I may just have to take a day trip a little farther north while I'm there!
The list grows longer with the confirmed addition of Lady Katrina, a noblewoman of Morelandshire. And I have 3 maybes with BJ and Kevin, and April.

I will do my best to be on line more this week and Scotsman will be on often as usual during the week. Please send a private ren mail for any particular tailgate questions or post on the tailgate thread. I cannot wait to see everyone!!
Three more Days till we make the Trek to Maryland. Can't wait to be reunited with Everyone at Revel Grove.
Even though I did not get a chance to make it to MDRF this year it's actually kind of hard to believe that next weekend is closing weekend. It seems like only yesterday when you all were talking about kicking off your season there.

...just follow the squirrel paw prints...they usually go as follows...first stop is a goodbye to Stupina...second stop, O'shucks for ale and shooters...third stop, Dragon's Lair for second breakfast :D...fourth stop, Royal Oak for elevenses...fifth stop, wine garden, cause I'm thirsty...back to the Dragon's Lair...anyone seen my hat??...ah, finally, the White Hart...race yuh back to the Dragon...and then...
Hmmm ... so that is why you always disappear on us ...
I don't disappear...I just get a bit...er..."translucent"...yeah, thats it...
BTW ... we were hoping that you would bring some of that awesome coffee of yours this weekend? Lady Guinness will trade coffee for hugs!
Lady Guiness and I are, as usual, very big on the "barter system"... ;)

I'll bet her husband isn't too happy with that! As long as Kevin isn't involved, I am okay with it ... that bastard has been hitting on her for years >:(
boys, boys! Ok..I give hugs to my friends freely..coffee is just the bonus! ::)
I can't wait...is it time yet??
Can I have a raincheck on the HUG???
I am trapped working in Colorado and am unable to break free to be with my Ren family this weekend.
Have a pint or 7 for me.
I miss you guys!!!!
It was a somber-and-elation-filled beautiful day...celebrated Day of Wrong today without a single squirrel in sight, wearing a new Moresca jacket...that was just wrong, I know...
Just 43 weeks till MDRF 2009!!
Just out of curiosity what was this year them for Day of Wrong? ???
My Lord, I don't believe it ever has a true theme, other than "wrongness"...it is very unofficial, and faire admin is very kind to let the outragiousness occur...all who know me at faire made the comment "No Squirrel?? Thats just wrong!!" today...and me, a humble ranger in Moresca...well, today, it was so wrong, it was right... 8)
Cheers!
Scarlett -
I was a pleasure finally meeting you and the rest of your company. Hopefully our paths will cross again very soon.

The pleasure was mine Dallan! You, Diane and the boys rock! Thanks for the awesome bagels, lox, and the hot rum with a touch of spiced cider. Maybe you guys can travel to GLMF or PRF next season.
We hope to.
It was so great meeting some of you! My husband enjoyed it too - was great to be able to say "See! These are the people I chat with on the forums!"

Lord Wriothsley you missed it this time! DOW was sooooo funny. It was my first time seeing this and it was worth the wait. Next year you have to make it. ;)
