I'm usually there about noon, depending on traffic.
I time my drive so that I pass through Houston just after the 9 AM rush is over.
I'll be in the Max-Lite trailer behind the Ford F-250, usually sitting in my chair by Cliff's trailer.
I'll be in the line up by about 8pm or so... hopefully...

Hmmmm, well you'd be stuck camping in the boonies I'm sure LOL. I have all necessary time off, and I'm ready to stake our claim on row 8!!!!
*I really hope that nobody from Safe Haven is reading this, cause they might try to thwart my efforts*

Hey Blue! Call me when you get up here and I'll come hang out with ya. ;D
I'm gonna go for the early run muhself. SHould be there thursday early, or maybe wednesday late.
I'm not on for Thursday :'(. I have to have these ridiculous staples removed Friday morning. I'll plan on early Friday afternoon.
Our group isn't going to make it there until Friday around noon, do you think it'll be an issue for us to get our usual camping spot (down around 19-20 A&B)?
My usual time to show up, not counting this coming weekend, is around 10a on Friday. There is usually plenty of room still from then until about 4p to 5p. After 5p it seems that the open spaces begin to disappear fairly quickly. Is that about what everyone else has seen?
yep, seen it just like that for years there
I try to make sure and be there by 2 or 3 and have never had a problem setting up wherever I wanted to
*gotta have plenty of time to organize the rum ya know*
i might just pop up thursday afternoon to set up tent, but won't beable to stay for i got work friday morn, but i'll be back friday night
That's good to hear. Our advance guard is leaving with the trailer and will be up there by noon at the latest. I don't get off until about noon, and a friend can't leave here until 2, and we're about 3 hours away. We should be there by 6 at the latest.
God, how am I going to work this week?? :)
To all you who are lining up thursday, I salute you!
My geek cred is as nothing next to you happy few, you band of brothers.
You are truly hardcore, or more like nerdcore.
Come by where the grail-shaped beacon hangs from a tree and have some blueberry pancakes and a bloody mary on sunday morning.
(Hint- Listen for the Russian music)
'Represent an keep it real, yo!

HEY!!! I know where you Brigadoon freaks keep camp. I certainly hope your breaky is ready by 7ish, cause mamma's gotta go to WORK!
Sorry luv, no early breakfast, we don't usually make it in by the first cannon these days, but if you ever get a sunday morning off, our traditional fare of blueberry pancakes and coon-weed puller style bloody marys are yours for the asking. 8)
A couple of us are moving further back to get away from ye olde mosh pit and the ill mannered mundane non-rennies.
Probably past the back road somewhere.

WAY TO MANY PARKED ON THAT ROAD AND INTO THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC ON FM

*Perhaps some rum would help?*
Well this is good news for me - I'll be showing up around 8pm-ish. I sure hope it doesn't put a damper on the early birds though.
LOL I can see it now....why is that car driving back and forth?
sure wish we could go up there tonight...*grumble, grumble* :(
Coon-weed puller style Bloody Marys, as taught to me by bona-fide cajuns:
Vodka
Ice
Zing-Zang bloody mary mix
Dash of tobasco (optional, some people believe it's Tobasco OR Horsradish. Personally, I go for overkill)
Dash of Lea & Perrins
Dash of horsradish
Squeeze in a wedge of lime
Spicy pickled green beans for garnish(get 'em at Specs)
Toss in a couple of jalapeno stuffed olives and bobs your uncle!
These will pop the pennies off the eyes of a dead Irishman.
Ga-ron-teed!
