Okay my dear resourceful scallywags. . .
Where can I find pirate accessories? Im looking for those little things to tweak my garb- parasols, hats, jewelry, etc. . . stuff that looks good and isnt the cheapy stuff you buy at say, oh. .. Party City.
This is a new look for me this year so Im a bit lost as to which direction to go. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

First wear your oldest most threadbare wench garb. Pirate's did not wear bandbox fresh garb. You can get a decent tri-corn at a halloween store but for the rest a sturdy belt, you need some type of blade or cat-o-nine tails, a sash type belt, and jewlery. Lots and Lots or glitter. Pirates wore their wealth it was portable and easy to dispose of. You can pick up some decent stuff at Pirate Merch.com. Word of advice don't load up with too many Jolly Rogers, instead find a personal thing to be your personal livery.
Visit http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html (http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html) to learn the lingo, then visit the links section for a list of vendors.

Get some really gaudy costume/cocktail rings from e-bay. They usually sell for less than $3 because they're so damned tacky, lol!
Also, a good belt, a scarf for your hair, a rolled up map, a set of jailer's keys, beads for your hair... a parrot! You can really go all out with this. Anything you wanna hang from your belt that doesn't fit the motif (like a folding hand-fan or something) you can claim as plunder from a faraway land. ;)

A good place to locate fun stuff that could go with your pirate gear is http://jas-townsend.com/ (http://jas-townsend.com/)
A parrot? Everyone does parrots go with something unique, I have a rat for example that sits atop my hat*points at profile picture*. The only problem is that he has a tendency to fall off...I need to get that fixed for next year. :)
Thanks for everyone's input. I have found a few things and then took a trip to yje local arts & crafts stores and made a thing or 2. Im sure Ill add to it as we get to faire, but I have a good start!
Ill try and post photos soon. Thanks again!
I love www.bilgemunky.com for reviews & products links, even radio & podcasts - bilgemunky after dark is PG-13 fun!
You can find the pirate's booty in their pants of course....lol ;D

I know we're not completely 'in period garb', but this year is the first year we're attempting something for the Pirate Christmas weekend at CRF. The clothing was mostly purchased online (shirts, pants, belts). The bandannas and sash were made from locally purchased materials. Most of the bling is available at any department store, although you could hit the Goodwill or Salvation Army stores to find some really gaudy 'bling'...you know...grandma's 'costume' jewelry. The leatherwork is my own (holster, pouches, mugfrogs, eyepatch). We're pretty happy with how it's turned out this year (though I do look forward to a nice cutlass and baldric soon). I'll be 'fleshing it out' with more leatherwork and a few more 'attachments', but I think I like 'Lascivious Capt'n Lisa' and her First Mate 'Bloody Bob'.
