Sound and Fury have a new show at 4:30 that was hilarious.
Wine & Alchemy was incredible. I wish they had more than 1 CD out.
Boss Wench had some wonderful jackets made out of saris. She only had 3-4 left this last weekend so go check them out. If I could have bought two, I would have.

Poetic portraits isn't new, but it's the first time I've worked with them and they are fabulous!! THey are going to do my QE1 and Countess pic on display in front of their shop during the TRF season.
wodden jouranls and stagger sticks are at Fourwinds, so not new to me, but glad to see them at TRF. If you don't know what a stagger stick is, go check it out for sure!!
The wire wrap lady now has a booth instead of a tent, she's awesome! she's across from globe theater now.
There is a new Fresh Fruit booth, I think it is called Felipe's. They have an AWESOME fruit, veggie, cheese and cracker tray for $5.00. When you go in the front gate, turn left, it is just past Wenches at Work.

I'm going to have to try that tray too...I've been saying they need to have something like that for a while now.
Oh! You MUST visit Mona Lisa when you get a chance. She'll talk your ear off and show you pictures of her SIX children. She also loves to talk about her overweight husband who really has no clue, and how Italian food is sooo much better than English food and she's on a worldwide search for that little old man, Senore Leonardo. He owes her royalties for a portrait he did of her.
And where can we find the Mona Lisa? Is she assigned an area or does she wander the entire faire?

Oh, she wanders quite a bit, but she loves her friends from Scotland.
She looks like this:

Ooooh gelato & fresh fruit!!! Gotta hit that booth! Yum!
I was almost in tears when I went to Devonshire soaps...and it wasn't there! I finally found them by the Polish food! She always has the best soaps, and I never use any store bought soap since I found them! She's gone from a booth to a maroon and cream colored tent...hopefully it's temporary! She also sells incense and lotions, liquid soaps. Definately worth checking out!
Mona Lisa lei รจ bello! :)
I was wondering if Mona Lisa was new. I had a chance to speak with her last weekend and she is quite entertaining for sure!!
Oh btw, that booth, Felipe's, sells Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, partially frozen, then dipped in Ghiradelli chocolate!
*swoons*
OMG, I had seen people carrying the cheesecake on a stick, now I am definately going to have to check this place out!

One of my co-worker's had mentioned that his brother and sister-in-law were venders at TRF. And then on Friday, Jason mentioned that your shop was named KnarlyKnot, and I realized I'd seen your posts here on RenaissanceFestival.com.
I'll be visiting TRF on the second weekend of November. Where's your shop, so I can stop by and say "Hi"?
Take Care,
David Baldock
Not sure about this year, but last year they were located in a tent by the Odean, I think.
Edited: Just saw on the when/where list it says across from the pepper lady, if that helps...

Cool! The Pepper Lady is another vender I was going to be looking for --- after reading all the posts about her in the Scarby section last Spring.
BTW:
Queen Anne's Lace will be visiting TRF on Nov 8-9 (http://www.qalace.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=363), so I'll also be looking for whichever stages they'll be performing on.
Take Care,
David Baldock
Queen Anne's lace was there opening weekend. They didn't have a stage though, they were performing in one of hte alleys under a tree and I just happened to catch part of their show. So will they have official performances then Nov 8-9th?
The post on the QAL web site that I linked to above says, in part, "... We do not currently have stage time, so we'll be wandering to shop, sing to our favorite vendors, and watch some of our favorite acts (or maybe find new ones). ..."
Take Care,
David Baldock
Hi David,
We're in a white tent with green trim by the Coin Mint. Please do stop by and visit, we'd love to meet ya.

Well, I'm not 'supposed' to eat it, but Amalphia lets my diet "slip" a bit during faire.

The frozen mango is to die for. But when Jenna (age 4) saw the fruit booth, she said, "May I have some strawberries please please please Mommy?!"
So strawberries it was. Despite the oh-so-yummy other choices....
