Title: Halloween Bach
Post by: Patrick on October 29, 2008, 04:08:56 PM
Hello all,

My first post!

St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Highland Park (http://www.standrewspgh.org/ (http://www.standrewspgh.org/)) is having their annual Halloween Bach this Friday at 8PM. I have been to it the last couple of years and it is quite fun. A couple of spooky pieces by Bach are played on the pipe organ, then a chance to ring the church bell, and treats for the kid are on hand. There is a costume parade at 7:30.

Welcome to the forum, ebt12!  (Can I just call you Patrick?)

That sounds like a cool event.  I have too many things to do Friday night, so I know I won't get to all of them.  But it sounds like a wonderful evening.

Welcome, Patrick.

Why do all the neat things happen at the same time?  Sounds like a fun event though.  Maybe next year.

Thanks! It is a neat thing. The music lasts all of 20 minutes but it sounds wonderful. I went there before heading down to Your Inner Vagabond. It's become a must do on Halloween for me.
