The Renaissance Faire
Comes to my world once a year
I'd rather be there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
D&D, Warcraft
Guild Wars, Twilight 2000
NONE compare to Faire!
I know that these are crude attempts, but my post is really an invitation for the poet in all of us to try our hand at Haiku. Standard Haiku 5-7-5, post 'em here. :)
crisp October morn
staff in hand I walk the lane
going to the faire
Scarlet welcomes me
Oklahoma winter colors
warmed by pirate friends
tiny jousters fly
spring humming from flower to flower
all are champions
sweaty hugs all 'round
Emerald; Grayson; the bear . . .
Lawton at its best
Flagons of dark beer
Flow from the tap to your mug
Life of a Beer Wench
Tree of naughtiness
Standing in front of my booth
Scratch will hump you soon
Guinness is the best
Harp is not the beer for me
Better than light though
Muffin drinks light beer
I don't hold it against her
She's lucky she's cute
Autumn's upon us
Watch out for falling acorns
Poor bleeding bosoms
Hawker on the bench
Hair glistening in the sun
My barbarian
Hee hee!!! Those are fabulous Boss Lady!! ;D
Foaming Stein beer wentch
Pour me a glorious beer
Glug, glug, glug, Tip, DING!
hehehe Thanks Muffin!
My regulars stand
Blocking the side of my booth
I still love them though
My flask is empty
Making me a sad bunny
When will it be full?
Drunken Ale Tenders
Stumbling around in the booth
Oops, I spilled a beer
Red, blue, gold, colors
on the shields of jousting knights.
My heart thrills inside.
