Title: Farewell to Thee
Post by: Woodland Artisan on November 16, 2008, 09:11:23 AM
Reporting LIVE, on-site, at LARF '08 ...

Well, this is the last day of my limited time here as traveling woodworking demonstrator/merchant.  I've made several wooden bowls, goblets and furniture of all kinds.  Tomorrow I'll be packing up and heading back up north to the Ozark Mountains to *try* to fill all of the orders that have been piling up for the holidays just a little more than a month away.

Waking up to the site of the fog lifting from the lake in front of us here on-site was a beautiful thing.  I want to thank the faire, cast, patrons and the fine merchants and residents of LA for inviting me here.  Student days were a particular joy for me as well as offering Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the services of my wood ....en    ...   chair to clear her head and stomach one day.

Come stop by the Bodgers Tent sometime today and say goodbye.
