Attention All Ye Gentiles,
Be it known by these presents that on this Saturday, the 22nd Day of November in the Year of our Lord 2008. The Purple Dragon shall be unleased upon the masses and unchained from his booth for the day. Be wary should ye see him wandering around with his lovely wife, The Lady Amalphia, as they shall be enjoying the faire as they have not been able to do since the Season in the year of our Lord 2002. They have both received a reprieve from their respective booths and shall be terrorizing the Gentiles and the not so Gentiles alike.
Oh no! Run! The Dragon is loose!
So, would gentiles be persons of the non-barbarian pursuasion?
In general use, Gentile means someone who isn't Jewish.
Though traditionally it can also mean someone foreign, from the Latin "gentilis," literally not from the tribe.
So if barbarians can speak, read, or write Latin, I'll give it to him!
Jewish barbarians???
"Oi, vey! Let's pillage a village and get feschnickered!"
Well, we do know that PD is of the "maybe Jewish" persuasion, no?
Well, considering my family was originally of the Hebrew faith when we lived in Germany, and up until we arrived upon the shores of Ellis Island in New York City in the months following their escape from Dachow (sp), when it was decided that we would no longer follow the Hebrew faith for fear of the same thing happening again, one could say that I am of the Hebrew faith, or at least descendant of Hebrews. ;)
((Actually, I did not want to use the term "Mundane" as it really comes off as an "us v them" type of title, and well without THEM, there'd be no US to have the fun we have at faire, 'cuz let's face it, those of us that go to faire in costume to have fun with each other are not really there to spend money and that is what it takes to keep a faire going and without them the need for us would dwindle quickly)).

The goddess of Pirate's Cove has spoken! If she can't keep an eye on you from here, she might even climb up in the crow's nest, PD. :) Hope you have a good time, bro. I'll try to catch up with ya this weekend.
