OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!
I just had a heart attack!!!!
So excited!!!! :D
I would love to audition, but having prior and more pressing commitments, I must decline. Perhaps upon retirement?
How should we prepare for this?

Just show up! Don't forget to wear comfortable clothing in which you can easily move. I would suggest no flip-flops or sandals. No need to wear a costume. Auditions will consist of a couple of improv games. Just relax and have fun!
That is so cool! So excited for this! :D
Whom would you suggest I contact for independent street and/or stage work? I'm already contracted for FLARF, but I'd love to come to Barf for a weekend or two of performing.
Queen Maggie aka Mistress Mannerly
Queen Maggie,
Should one be selected for cast, is that individual committing to EVERY faire day? If there may be some conflicts, should someone not even audition?
Squire Mickey
Squire Mickey - It would depend on the frequency of conflicts. Come check out auditions, and we can talk about it!
only 4 days :D so excited!
Break a leg everyone who tries out!
Wish I could...but besides now being 4+ hours away, the auditions are the same day as my college orientation. Oh well, I'll probably do my nomal gig and work for a booth or act.

ARG!!! My twin daughters are both running fevers over 101 this morning. There is no way that I can get away to make the auditions. Break a leg everyone... So very sad!
Auditions were great! A lot of people from last year, and some new ones too!!!
Sorry Mickey!

Oh, that is alright a very sweet of you lass. Have no fears, you shall see the good squire and his privateer rouge of a brother in the lanes to be sure.
We'll be having another set of auditions on Sat., December 20, same bat place, same bat time. Please spread the word!
Second opportunity if you missed out on the first round!

I second your views, Count! Congrats Libby and cheers to the ones who have that in them---been there, done that...much rather play by my own schedule and rules (within the limits of the faire's overall rules, of course). I like my lot in faire life: pucking caddy, booth worker, and slave to my favorite minstels (i.e. roadie, CD seller, etc...nothing perverse) ;D
