*edited, I'm not a pet anymore!!*
You forgot someone! ;)
I'll try to be there I had a blast last year and loved my surprise from Flog'n & Gimili!!
Hopefully, it won't be raining corn :)
Hmmm ... you better go ahead and add us to that list ... the two trouble makers that is ....
i can't remember who it was that ate the floating eggs or the sunken eggs?
Slack'n here, and definitely THERE!
I will be there. I will be there with mug and horn and the McBrewer Glasses
At last, I know one of the weekends that we will be attending now.
Mark us down!
Seeing as I'm not an M'Crack, I'm most likely not going to show. Always feel awkward at those gatherings when I'm not part of the group.
Poofie, Thats M'Cracks and R/Fer's. = all around friends
Ahh, Come PoofBird! An we shall speculate from a safe distance as to
which are regimental...
Poofie, don't let that stop you from joining in. Most of the M'Cracks are RF'ers. It won't be any different than the last 2 RF invasions, same people and probably a few new ones. Just a lot of people having a fun weekend.
That'd be the weekend I'm celebrating my birthday this year, so of COURSE I'll be there, M'Crack or no. ^.^
I'll do my best to be there, depends on how many new lieutenants we have to train ::)
Poof Bird -
M'Cracks love making new friends. All are welcome!
Bein' a M'Crack and all, I'd like to sponser Poof as my pet, if she'll have it! What say you Poof? Then you'll have no excuse for not attending!
I am not a M'crack, but if it's closing weekend I shall be there. ;D
I pray thee, so what do you have do, Lords & Ladies, to become a "M'Crack"?
CC
You must be sponsored by a M'Crack from your state to become a pet (petitioner) and being a pet involves gathering signatures from other M'Cracks. This is a great way to meet your fellow M'Cracks and an excellent way to get to know others in general. So, come on to the M'Crack invasion and let's get to know you!
We will be there with the Michigan Invasion
I will be there with you all! :)

I must say LadyHawkeontheHill that statement is not true. You do not have to find a sponsor within your own state. My Pet lives in MD and I live in NC
Oh yeah, and my Papa Tinker said it was okay to let you all know that I am a Pet now! Rum'n! :D
EDIT: Rum'n is taken... we're working on a new name :)
(bounces) tink! tink! i get to see tinker and belle!! woohooo!!!
Oh my yes, our precious Nailin. me Belle and me would not miss the Ohio Invasion.
would thee by chance come'n to the Tn. Invasion or Ky. Invasion ?
if not then, certainly in Ohio then dear Lady.
i be the Old Tinker and his Belle...
Ok, name thing fixed :) I am BOOTY'N M'Crack (pet!) :D And I will be there barring any infant issues :)

We be there too, it's the Michigan/Outlander Invasion weekend.
Chime'n M'Crack pet of Slack'n M'Crack checking in.
I'll try to get to the pub to see you all. I work for another vendor for this faire and will have to see if I can get some time off to get some signatures to start my process.
Unless I have to have spinal surgery.
I have 2 more test the Dr wants me to get done and hopefully then he can deside what to do about my leaning problem. I'm tired of taking so much pain meds.
Calendar's marked! The Lady von Groper will be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
I hope things work out for you, dear Windchime!
The list is growing......plans are now starting to be firmed up.....
For those coming in for the M'Crack weekend I suggest staying in Wilmington because it's only 7 miles from faire. I was going to block rooms at the Baymont in Wilmington, but the online rate was much better than the rate I was quoted. The Baymont is on Carrie Drive (Wilmington) and their number is 937-383-3950. Their online rate is $52 (my "blocked" rate was $60). There is also a Hampton and a Holiday Inn Express next to the Baymont on Holiday Drive.
The meet n greet will be at the Brazenhead in Mason. M'Cracks fit right in with their theme and garb is encouraged! The Brazenhead is at 5650 Tylersville Rd in Mason, Ohio 45040 and their phone number is 513-229-0809. I'll have maps to pass out for those needing such and at this writing I'm trying to encourage all to stay at the Baymont, however, all three of those hotels are within a stone's throw of one another and it seems the online rate for all of those hotels is the best you can acquire.
http://www.baymontinns.com/Baymont/control/Booking/check_avail?areaCode=&brandCode=BU,SE,RA,HJ,TL,DI,KG,BH,MT&searchWithinMiles=50&areaType=1&destination=wilmington&state=OH&country=US&checkInDate=10/23&numberAdults=1&numberRooms=1&checkOutDate=10/25&numberChildren=0&numberBigChildren=0&rate=000&useWRPoints=false&variant=&id=70130&propBrandId=BU&force_nostay=false&tab=tab1
Got my hotel room at the Baymont reserved.
LadyHawke, with tickets costing $19.99 and their $2.00 parking fee, is anyone working on getting a group rate for tickets?
I will check on this, but I think the best we might be able to do is the "click n print" option on ORF's webpage. The tickets are $17 with that option and you're able to print your tickets at home, no shipping charges and no will-call window...
Thought about getting a season pass again bc last year they were 65 bucks (vs 80 for two weekends at 20 a day)..which was a good idea, but sadly they're 100 this year. Yeowch. If I still lived closer to the faire then maybe but...My goodness!
Granted it's a STEAL if you get one and go all days ($5.89 per day) ;)
Hotel reservations made. I can't wait!
What day are you all going to meet at Brazenhead?
I kind of need to know because I might still need the parents to drive me.
Since I haven't driven myself since June.
Still hoping all goes well with my surgery so I can come out and meet everyone. :)
The Brazenhead meet n greet will be Friday night October 23rd. I'm thinking 7:00 ish. Still waiting to see the final head count (and we have some time yet) to know just what the accomodations will be for our group.
ok I was just checking. I'll probally have two to three people including me coming. P.S. that's the day after my birthday ;D
Let's bump this topic up a bit, make it current.
Albannach will be the weekend's entertainment for the last weekend of ORF's run. We'll have M'Cracks, Outlanders and lots of Michiganers. A weekend not to be missed.
My rogue Gregory and I will be there FOR CERTAIN on the 25th. We cannot miss Jinx's birthday. Or Albannach. And now that other R/Fers will be there......wonderful weekend!
yay Albannach!!!
Albannach!? Homina homina homina!
M'Cracks and Albannach - GREAT times! :D
I'm not a M'Crack, and I'm still new to R/F, but I'll be there-- at least in the sense that I'm on cast, so I have to be! ;)
And we will look forward to the pleasure of your company.
Just a head's up to all of you who weren't at the invasion this past weekend, I am working a booth this season. However, it looks as though I can catch a breaker to work for about an hour or so, so I will be able to escape and make it to the toast at three, as long as someone stops by and visits! I can make no guarantees, however on the survival of the loki that I've brought, as it's already mostly gone and the festival cast just discovered I have it. But, it may survive, and there is also the possibility of a secondary delivery...
Can't wait to see you all!
BTW - the booth is Silverleaf Designs, clothing shop....and I have M'Crack mannekins already laid out so the shop will be sporting our colours!
Excellent, Cara -
Can't wait to see it.
I'll be there! Nothin' will keep me from albannach my friends!

M'Crack colors?
*giggle* But of course! I'm just debating if I have enough time and fabric to make something new ;)
If not, I'm making certain to have plenty of M'Crack coloured merchandise on hand in the booth!

What is the said time for the meet & greet?
7:00 be the witching hour...
I'll be there along with my parents since as of right now I still can't drive.
Looking forward to it!
I'm going to try to make the Fri nite dinner. Not sure what time tho'. Gotta work all day, leaving Cleveland by 4pm, arrival at the hotel maybe 7:30 or so, Brazen Head by 8:30 maybe, if I'm still awake.
It would be wondermous to see you at dinner QO, and as far as the tickets go, print at home is your best option for a discount. Unfortunately I cannot seem to work my schmooz magic on anyone in charge of collecting faire admission this year!
Ok, I'm not a M'Crack, but I am an RF-er. A MIRF RF-er. And I'll be at ORF on closing weekend. weeee!!!!
Flidais, everyone is welcome to join the fun! It will be good to see you again! 8)
Aye, this is for anyone who is interested and you'll get to meet alot of M'Cracks!
Be very afraid! ;D

TAILGATE Saturday mornin'! I'll be parked as close to the front as I can get (in the silver saturnia) and serving up the usual Mimosas and (new this year) coffee martinis. Yes, the drinks will be chilled and SO WILL THE WEATHER, so buck up and have a drink before going to the first Albannach show! Drums, drinks and drunks, people are gonna be ripping their clothes off and dancing like naked hippies....
And I can't leave my booth to join in!!! :(
Ah well...Also, folks it looks like I won't be able to make the meet'n'greet....too much prep work in the booth. Unfortunately!
I'll miss hanging out with you, but I will be sporting M'Crack colours as best I can. I do have to wear booth merchandise, but I'm going to try to piece together a M'Crack outfit from her stock!

Be addin' one more ta the list. ;D
Saddened as we are that our faire season will be coming to a close along with Willy-Nilly, it is balanced by the pleasure of having been enriched by the friendships forged, found and reinvigorated amongst the good peoples at faire. Knowing that said enjoyment can be found for one more glorious weekend, we wouldst be remiss for letting slip such the occasion. Whilst the Lady and I most probably will not be able to attend the greeting on the eve of Friday, we do so look forward to the morn in the lot. Safe journeys to all and till we meet again...

After one more trip around the sun, our very own Pin'n M'Crack will be celebrating her Natal Day this weekend at ORF. If you happen to run across her, please light her a candle, sing her a song, or buy her a drink. Whatever you do, wish her well.
Happy Birthday, Sunshine! ;D

I think, Sir Samuel, that you might have forgotten to come and party with us on Saturday! Way too many of us had to head home on Sunday morning, especially those from North Carolina. We managed to finish the coffee martinis with breakfast Sunday morn, they were quite the hit!
They were delicious!
And I would like to thank all of you who were there for the warm and wonderful reception that we received. It was a long trip from North Carolina, but it was well worth every mile. And I would like to send a special than you to Georg, for all of her hard work. You did a wonderful job, and it definitely paid off well. Needless to say, you are hired!
I hope to see many of you in Charlotte on closing weekend, but for everyone else, until next time.
I love you all,
Peddlin
Thank you dear Peddlin'! I am honored!
It was a great weekend with amazing people! The weather was lousy, but the company was second to none!
