There's a gentleman named Reggie Bibbs whose blog I've been reading for a while. He has a disorder called neurofibromatosis, which causes tumors to grow throughout his body. He first came to my attention when he made a post about going to TRF in October. The joy he expressed at being there resonated with me.
Anyway, here's where I could use our fairemily's help. Reggie's going to be out at TRF on Friday and I'd like to make something magical happen. From talking to Blue, I know that most of you do a Meet and Greet at the Prince of Wales around noon. Does anyone have a spare R/F Pin that I buy from you? I'd like to have Reggie come by the Prince of Wales and receive it as a gift.

Just to throw in my two cents. I've known Reggie for a couple years and he's a really great guy. He's very personable and has no trouble explaining anything you want to know about nuerowhatever. Sorry to say that the disorder makes him very easy to recognize, but on the other hand when you do, walk up and say hi! He'll be glad to talk to you.
Thanks, Zaubon! That's truly the impression I've gotten from the limited virtual interaction that we have had. Other ideas for ways to show him what a great Fairemily we have are welcome.
What a wonderful man. He shines from within! I will be happy to give him a royal R/F greeting. I wonder if he would like to Join FOKTOP and slay Peeps? I could knight him at the meet and greet!

I do not have an R/F pin to give, but do you think he would accept one of my favors? I would be honored to give him one. He is such a joyful person. So many people could learn alot from him.
Just warn him not to be frightened of MY appearance. ;D I might spook him a bit... Most people say my eyes freak them out. LOL
i'm still waiting on my pin order, so i don't have one at all, but i would love to make his aquaintence at the meet and greet fo sho.

Escarlata, thank YOU for affording us the opportunity to meet such a wonderful man! He is truly a blessing to this world! I am a better person for knowing Reggie. He has definately touched my heart (and perhaps melted it a bit)
I have requested an add on his Myspace, as well as left a comment on his blog. He is just AWESOME! I am sorry I didn't have an R/F pin to give him, but very happy that he enjoyed receiving one of my faerie favors.
