Title: Heavy is the heart
Post by: Dracconia on December 22, 2008, 08:05:25 AM
The sun arises over fields of green
Casting the field in gold
Smiles of the awake radiate
Tis time to start a new day

Boots pulled on
Unmentionables pulled in
Men shod
Women beautiful again

Children laughing running around free
Horses nuzzling and dogs barking
Mothers calling fathers rumbling
Tis a new day

Walking through the gates
Following aromas so rich Solomon can't afford
Coffee bubbles to the top
Eggs sizzle along side bacon

Pecans roast hot and sticky
Meat sizzles popping and crackling on the fire
Scottish eggs in nearly every hand
Everything perfect

Music plays
Feet dance
Hands clap
Lips sing
Hips sway

Eyes open
What a disappointment to find
Oh what a heavy heart is mine
Tisn't Opening Day
Tis Monday
