Less than a month 'till we meet again in Fiddlesword....Fittlesworth....well you know the place :)
Thank for the count down thingy!
I'm off to do my Happy Dance of Joy, now that Faire is almost here! ;D
You're welcome. Couldn't find a beer bong or maybe a little King or Queen. The finger of fate will have to do. :)
Shall we plan a daily meet up time?
Things from Rings tent was the morning time but ...giggle...... morning was too early....giggle...
Say we change this to noon hour?
Still plenty of time to find out and plan the day... meet old friends....... the days events info (IE Tea Party/Smoker) who is going .... pub crawl info.... sign my memories book...... get in a picture or two.... sometimes even a group photo... giggle...with a Queen even....... giggle
So same place just a different time?
Think of me on opening day. I shant make it this year to BARF :'(

That's too bad, Lady Ann! I was hoping to see you there. :(

You can still see her-- You'll just have to come up to MiRF this season to do it. ;D .
Us MiRF wenches are fun too..... or so we hear. *innocent look and whistling* And there's always room for a lass with such obvious good taste, so consider this your cordial invitation.
As for me, I'll be yearning for faire while looking out at all the snow covering my yard. :-\

I'll be there sometime in September. The Guinness pub is calling! Lots o pirates there....pirates...forget-me-not blue mmmmmmm.... ;)
We're covered in snow as well. I think someone needs to send some of that balmy Florida weather up here. I can't wait till March!
Love, I wish we had balmy weather to send you. I'm a popsicle right now.
I don't know, I was out in tshirt yesterday all day. Granted it did get kind of cool since we were out until almost 8pm.
Just got to love FL and her beautiful weather. Except for those 10-15 days we get a year of cold, miserable crap anyway.
Huzzah!! Wow, it sure seems like it takes no time at all to get once we get over Christmas. :)
Though the rest of the year sure seems to drag....

Hello I know I haven't been here in awhile just wanted to let you all know that I plan on being at fest March 28!
Only 2 more weeks to go! HUZZAH !!!
Time to get on those last minute projects...maybe. ;D
Yes, It is so close to opening I can taste the dirt and feel the black boogers forming! It is amusing to consider what we enjoy as recreation at times, LOL! I would like to see those of you I know already and meet some of you I do not. I will be on court again this year however and that will take the vast majority of my day. Beyond a passing in the lanes I am not sure who of you I will see. But only time shall tell. Hears to a great and prosperous faire season and escape from the hurting economy of this world! All shall be better in time.

!)10 DAYS 'TILL CANNON!!
I was looking at the new map Anna posted on the info thread, did they move the entrance and chess board this year?
I think the perspective is a bit off. I posted the maps so that when the site goes down during the off season anyone who wanted to reference our faire site would have something to look at. If BARF creates a new map I'll post that one as well.
6 days 'til cannon for anyone who's counting. :)

Already planning on a "Roll in our Creek"?
The "creek" in question was on last years' online BARF map. Apparently, there is/was a creek running thru the back of Pyrate's Pub. I have spent, ummm, a lot of time in that vicinity, and there ain't no crik. Gotta check this years' version.....
No folks,
I am afraid that the French hath been drawing the maps again. There is no creek that I know of this year, save on a rain day! As for the location of the Chess Board, the map is off a bit. It has not moved since last year.
We are so close now!
Hello Ren friends. Haven't been here in awhile myself, but want to let my friends know that I'll be at the festival on March 15th, and one more time on April 5th. Take care and I'll see you there. Jason. :)

Tossenhoff! That's what we Germans like to call it...or at least that's what the patrons we ask have voted on!
(And we can't pronounce it either. Not without spitting!) ;)
I was just down at the office on festival site at MOSI to drop something off...
Oh man the flags are up;
The booths are going up;
The stages where getting prepped;
AND THEY WERE BRINGING IN THE KEGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy,
I did a drive by on sunday!! waved and yelled out the window SEE YOU SATURDAY!!!
Im waiting to buy my season pass there so i dont have to pay the fee.
Does anyone know if its the metal coins again????
I think that the online price with the fee is still less than the cost at the gate...
69 plus 9 dollars?? I think its only 69 at gate
Oh, you are right...I just went back and found the earlier thread.
The charge is $3 but still, the season passes were $69.95 which is what I think they are at the gate as well.
Thanks for catching that for me Christine!
Squire....why didnt you come by and say howdy? If your in the area today, we are headed out to get the flowers and finish setting things up today.... giggle..... the excitement is growing..... no sleep tonight.... giggle....
I'd thought I would share a story with you all.
I have a tiara that I have had for atleast 3 seasons now. Its has pearls and diamonds.
I never really could find any jewelry to match it. Well my mom passed away in sept after a fight with cancer.
My dad back in dec gave me a bag with boxes of jewelry in it, and said mom wanted you to have this!
Last night as i was putting my stuff together for this weekend, I went threw the boxes, there it was a necklace and earrings that matched!!!!
Brought a tear to my eye!!! SHINIE!!! So sunday I will have it on!!!!!
tomorrow I will have a pair of her earrings and her snowflake on.
When my dad gave it to me, he said mom said you needed this for your princess costumes.
Like she almost knew that I always had an issue with finding stuff to match it.
I just thought I would share that story, Its sad and happy at the same time, kinda like the last day of faire!!!
Cant wait til tomorrow!!!
Christine, I'm sorry. I didn't know you lost your Mom.
Funny how things like that can come together. I have a pair of earrings my sister gave to me that matches perfectly a new gown I had purchased and couldn't find the right colors for. She had no idea of the gown or my search for earrings. She gave them to me for my birthday saying, "here I thought you could wear these to faire". I love them and I always send her a smile when I wear them now. :)

Princess Christine, I am saddened to hear about your mother. But, it brightens my heart to know that she was always thinking of you and that you have something to wear in memory of her. She sounds like she was a very generous and supportive parent. I look forward to seeing your smile and new bling.
