Title: Beaded Juliet cap?
Post by: Philomel on March 14, 2009, 09:56:09 AM
I'm trying to find a beaded juliet/skull cap that I found somewhere online.  It was a soft cap, and open, more like those cheap Egyptian beaded caps than a solid hat.  Has anyone seen anything like this?

Here's one on EBAY. The price is certainly reasonable and it's offered in all sorts of colors and bead options.  Hope this helps.

There is also a beautiful tutorial here if you want to try to make one.

*Thanks to Operafantomet for that link found elsewhere here. I don't even have a juliet gown and I want to make that cap. :)*

The old Simplicity "Ever After" gown pattern also had a beaded juliet cap similar to the one in the link Anna Iram posted-

It looks similar to the cap worn in the movie.

I made the simplicity cap years ago.  I don't have a picture, but it was made with gold soutache braid and pearl beads just like in the link Anna posted-

Mine isn't nearly as gorgeous as that one is, though.

The first one is a little closer to what I need, but I love the second one!
