Title: nice pants but...
Post by: Dev on March 24, 2009, 07:03:32 PM
they have a zipper-and-button fly.  They also have pockets in the back, but those can be removed once I dye them completely black aside from the brown laces on the sides.

My initial thought was a breechcloth-type setup, but there are probably things I'm overlooking.

Also as with my previous garb configurations, I put a whole lot of stuff around my legs/hips, but barely anything on top.  I'd like to put something on my shoulders/arms/chest but I'm not sure what.

As it stands, the pieces of garb that I am DEFINITELY including in the outfit are those pants and a black, v-front bodice.  My character is a troll, sort of a shaman-type - no, I'm not talking about WoW.

A long shirt (mid thigh) will cover the pockets and fly. A cod piece will also work. I don't mean one of the over-stuffed Tudor style pieces, just a simple flat triangle that attaches at the three corners with ties.

As for the breach clout, a chamois would work nicely, as long as you don't have any objections to leather. Otherwise, some ragged cloth/burlap would look good.
