Title: Another Fabulous Fabric Find!
Post by: sealion on March 31, 2009, 09:14:50 AM
After stumbling onto Kaufman Radiance cotton/silk blend fabric ( http://www.robertkaufman.com/fabrics/radiance/?solids&cotton_blends ) and using it for my red zimarra I just discovered that they also make embossed cotton velveteen ( http://www.robertkaufman.com/fabrics/baroque/?solids&cotton )!
But it's not a heat stamped design! It's cut pile! "Embossed means that it's a permanent design normally created by heat rollers or in this case the pile is sheared to create the design."
This ebay seller has better photos of the fabric: http://stores.ebay.com/Jane-Vincents-UNIQUE-FABRIQUES
