"The Scots are coming to Scottsboro in 2009"

The 2009 North Alabama Highland Festival and Scottish Games will be held on the beautiful grounds of Goose Pond Colony at Scottsboro, Alabama on June 19th and 20th.

Gates will open to the public at 9 a.m. Opening ceremonies will begin at 11 with the Parade of Tartans, Massed Pipe & Drum bands, Presentation of Honored Clan. The closing ceremonies will be at 4:30 p.m. Competitions will be held throughout the day. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children 6 - 12.
