So I'm on the hunt for a new Tankard and or Goblet, and I'm having a bit of trouble. See I would like one that holds at least 20 oz of liquid. I'm not partial to any particular materials, could be pewter, could be wood, could be ceramic. The main thing is that it holds enough liquid and doesn't look too...noble? Something more warrior class/barbarian than Elizabethan.
Any links in the right direction would be appreciated.

For a barbarian you might want to think about a drinking horn. A little pricey but they last and come in various sizes from med to xxxl
Wood tankards also come in various sizes from goblets to 48oz+. Just depends on what you need and want to pay for
Horns can be purchased raw at places like Tandy, then cleaned (even in the dishwasher) and simply sealed with wax if you don't ming the 'authentic' taste, then wrap it in leather or leather cord, and call it good. I've seen them run anywhere from $15 to $25. There are other ways to home seal them if you want something a little more durabel, that won't leave a taste in your drink, including food safe polyutherane

I asgree with the drinking horn idea for the warrior/barbarian. Most faires have a booth that sells them. I bought three on different occasions (Oops, I forgot to bring a drinking vessel, I guess I'll have to buy another) from the booth at Sterling. They went for about $30-45.
I'll suggest Wonderous Works in Wood (where I got my tankard). They have ones that will easily hold 20+ ounces and they hold up well. If they do break, they will fix them for you. These wood mugs can also handle cold or hot liquids.
Knarly Knot also does wonderful woodwork - I just don't recall how big thiers are.
might I suggest this site for horns. They seem to have a full scale of them. I have never ordered from them but the website is nice.

I am partial to Mug O'the Woods. They are made from logs and most still have their bark, many also have moss on them. Very rugged looking mugs that come in all different sizes.

I feel the need to put in a plug for the shop I hawk for. Actually I felt these were the best I have seen at festival and have felt so long before I started hawking for them. Does anyone know some merchant that makes mugs in child size? I'd like to look into one for my not so little three year old. He terrified me drinking out of a coke can last sunday (trying to stick his tongue in and all!). He got his belt and so forth that day as well, so basically he needs a mug that won't be huge for him. Also needs to be durable for a rough and tumble little boy. Also should I look for a more childsized mugfrog? His belt is relatively narrow, about an inch I think.
I'm also looking for childsize nearly anything as far as nonsewable accessories. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

I've noticed several times at Goodwill smaller versions of pewter tankards. They are called christening cups. My younger son got one from his godparents when he was christened. He's almost 25 now, but they still make them. Try googling "christening cup" and see what you pull up. You can also try the aforementioned Goodwill, thrift shops, or antique shops.

You could also order a tin cup (go with stainless steel) for Civil War reenacting. Not exactly H/A but VERY lightweight and durable. The more he scratches and beats on it the better it will look!

I can't remember the name of the shop. It is at MNRF and I think it is between my pub and Groomporter's shop. He bought that a few years ago. Mayhap someone here will know the shop I am talking about, they also make those leather mugs that taper at the top and bracers. I *think* they might make helms as well. I keep thinking it might be Excalibur, but cannot find this style on their site.

I purchased some of her other items, and she is very nice to work with. My items are in NJ, and I am going there next weekend for a wedding, so we arranged for me to pick them up.
