Articles of Agreement for the Harbinger
The Harbinger is now nearly out of dry-dock and is taking on crew able bodied crewmen to fill the ranks. Do you have what it takes to man the fastest, fiercest ship in these or any other waters? Stand fast before the mast and make yer mark on our articles and join the brethren crew of the Harbinger.
The Harbinger is part of the International Fellowship of Royal Privateers (http://www.ifrp.org/). We are a social group, dedicated to the ideals of fellowship, reenactment and fun. The Harbinger and her crew will participate in various activities and festivals throughout the year, such as the Bay Area Renaissance Festival, The Florida Pirate Festival, John Lévique Days, International Scurvy Awareness Day, Gasparilla and many more. Additionally, we will host our own events, open to crew members and those who wish they were crew members. These shall consist of pub crawls, parties and other social gatherings.
In addition to social events, the Harbinger will be a vehicle for giving back to the community. Harbinger and her crew will participate in various charitable events throughout the year with organizations such as The Shriners Children's Hospital and Toys 4 Tots.

That puts us currently at a crew of 18, six guns and in the top 25 of all ships at sea. We have commitments to sign 10 more in the next month or so to put us in the top 10 and gain 10 guns. All of our founding members will be receiving a special designation as well!
I will be speaking with more of you today who have expressed interest. One note, we cleaned the International Guild of Royal Privateers out of guild pins yesterday with all of the sing ups (NICE WORK me HEARTIES!!!). So, remember, it takes 6-8 weeks for them to hand cast those pins. Please PM me if you are at all interested in joining the crew of the Harbinger.
We want everyone on board and with pins for John Leveque so we need to get them ordered ASAP!
Our first social event will be announced soon! As always everyone is welcome to attend.

I am thinking that the first "official" event may be piggybacked on the Scurvy Awareness Party! I would love to have our articles ready for the crew to sign and have our colors flying above the event!
I'm going to try and have garb ready for Scurvy Awareness Day...I should be able to devote all free time the final three or four days before hand because I'll be done with school...but I may not. :(...
And you may want to look in the new cannons for the rum...He might have hid some there...Or perhaps in the still folded up sails...

*bump* Was wondering what was going on with the Krew? Sorry Davens and myself could not make the last event. I was stuck in a line for a free dental cleaning for nine hours. Well worth the wait, but ya'll were well missed!
Perhaps another get together as the Buccaneers football season nears closer...or say...Escarlata's and mine own's birthdays on the same day the day before Sarasota and Camelot days...though I will only be able to attend Sarasota....
