Seeing that this is quite fitting, next Tuesday on Spike TV at 10:00pm, be sure to watch Deadliest Warrior. Very cool show about what would happen if different warriors throughout time would match up, who would win. Next week seems fitting to be Pirates vs Knights. Got to go with the Knights.
I saw my first all periods battle at the Pennsic Wars a few years ago. I kept imagining American Civil War troops coming over the horizon and just shooting everyone. lol. One solid shot and down comes the fort.
If they let the pirates use canons and powder pistols, it could be bad for the knights. But hand-to-hand it's knights without a doubt.
