Title: Viking clothes?
Post by: Lakainen on April 24, 2009, 12:49:58 PM
Is it appropriate to wear Viking womens attire to the renaissance festival?
Im not talking about the helmet with horns and stuff but If I wore a simple white chemice, apron, broches, and the like. Would it be more appropriate to wear more french/uk/german inspired ren peices?

that is completely approriate, more so if you feel comfortable in it. I belong to a viking group (the Lost Viking Hoard) and many of our members prefer to attend faires in viking garb. Me I like a good bodice more.. but that is me lol...

wear what makes you feel happy and comfortable and enjoy yourself!

Why wouldn't it be?? There are a great number of Viking attired people that go to the MNRF, so if that's what you want to go as, then have a blast. The only important thing is that you have fun.
