Title: Queens Throne and Renaissance Furniture....
Post by: Burleigh on April 28, 2009, 12:59:03 AM
Looking for plans, blueprints etc for a Queens Throne and general Renaissance furniture (the Queens Throne should preferably be a knock-down throne that can be put together in minutes (if possible)) Otherwise a static throne plan if you have it.

Thanks

I looked for that same thing in 1999, but failing to find anything, I designed one myself. I looked at pictures on the internet and in books to get a general idea of what I wanted, first. Then, my son built it and I did the finishing. Same thing with the bench we made.

I did find several books about medieval furniture, but they didn't have a throne. They had chests, tables, x style chairs, etc. I can find the title if you want to know.

My throne chair is glued/nailed/screwed together, no taking it apart. I also made a cushion with fringe for the seat. I can post pics if you would like to see it.
:)
