Title: Scottish Ren Fest - Watsonville, CA
Post by: Lady Rebecca on May 19, 2009, 01:22:04 AM
Has anyone been here before? I was thinking about going, but it's my last day at home in the Bay Area (I leave for the summer on a red eye flight that night). Is it worth it?

So is it the sort of thing to wear garb to, do you think? Or is it all kilts and such?

While I have no real idea Lady Rebecca, their page does say on the Volunteer page:

To volunteer during the event, you must have a "period" appropriate costume.

Sounds fun, wish we could go!

So is anyone else planning on it? I'm taking my family. I hope it's good - my mom has only been to one faire before, and was disappointed, and I'm pretty sure my dad and brother have never gon to a ren faire before.

Oh, I probably saw you then. Though I left early. But I was there from about 11:30 until right after the fight show.
