Please do not reply here since this isn't a ren garb question but I didn't know where else to ask...
Our 16th wedding anniversary is coming up and we are going on a 3 hour train ride on the Minnesota Zephyr. http://www.minnesotazephyr.com/discover.shtml (http://www.minnesotazephyr.com/discover.shtml) The era is post WWII (late 1940's) and I'd like to dress the part or at least be "inspired". After googling several variations on 40's fashion, I have not come up with consistent results.
I prefer the later Dior "New Look" with larger skirts since I do not have a figure that would compliment the pencil thin, wasp waisted styles. Suggestions? Links? Please renmail. Thank you all!
