The Golden Gate Renaissance Festival in San Francisco has changed dates. Whereas the event was originally scheduled for August 29th & 30th, it is now rescheduled for August 1st & 2nd.

Sheesh. As if things couldn't get more discombobulated...

Word is going out now that the GGRF will not happen this year. While the website continues to advertise for August 1st & 2nd, the website for Golden Gate Park does not have it listed at all. Keep an eye on the GGRF site in the next few days for final say.

With that said, the theme from the GGRF seems to be transferred over to the Ardenwood Faire (http://www.ardenwoodfaire.com) in Fremont. That faire is slated for Sept. 12/13.

....and I got official word from my guildmaster. She received word from the faire organizer.

No GGRF this year.
