I've always worn my hair over my ears to faires, but this year I have a new hat which looks better with it tucked behind. What kind of earrings would you suggest? Something small & studlike? Dangly beads on fish-hook backs? Or no earrings at all? I've never thought about it before or noticed what others were wearing!
I think it really depends on what you are wearing. With my piratey garb, I wear big hoops. With my noble garb, I wear pearl drops. I have gone with none in at all, I have forgotten that I had my diamond studs in other times.. lol
I guess it will depend on your headwear and character, and if they would be visible at all, but I am starting with a pair of simple, delicate, silver celtic knots that dangle.
^That's what I would really like to get, except in gold. But for now, I'm wearing pearl drops that I picked up at Walmart for $3.
Pearl drops seem to be the "go to" earring that works with everything!
I agree with sealion...of all the earring styles I've offered over the years, the basic pearl drops are by far the most-requested, at least for noble wear.
