We bought this boot and liked it alot....

After one season we will need to resole them because the soles were hollow. But we pretty much expected that. We'll just have a nice and good sole put in for around $40... wich will last us 2 seasons or more. The boot itself held up wonderfully considering our home faire is on gravel. the boots themselves were around $80 including shipping. so not that bad at all.
renboots has some, and caboots has a nice selection and will
custom make boots as well

There are a million threads on boots in this forum. Just scroll back a few pages.
Nativearth makes excellent, albeit expensive footware.
Custom made shoes and boots are not cheap by any means. But yet, it is unwise to go cheap on footwear for faire. One's knees and back will be feeling it by the end of the day. $250 to $400 is on par for Custom made boots. $150 to $300 for shoes as well.
My husband paid $150 for his Custom shoes at Bristol last year and he loves them. Well made and well into a second season. Should last for many years.
I know someone that has a pair of Son of Sandler boots in that size range who wants to sell them. I believe he wore them only 2 times. I'll PM you when I get more information.
Depending on what you do at Faire there are some excellent options:
Son of Sandlar is of course a favorite
caboots.com is decently priced and the products are wonderful.
blockaderunner.com is another good source for mens boots.
Just remember with caboots and blockaderunner that if you get a calvary boot to have the heel replaced. All of these boots have been used for multilpe seasons in day long scenario shows by Knights of Iron and have stood up to incredible daily abuse.
good luck!
