I hope that everyone is recovering now from their exertions during the last two months or more. And, I would like to take this moment to express my gratitude and thanks to everyone who made this year at CORF such a wonderful and memorable year. I am still a newbie at all this. This is only my second year in garb and only my third year at faire. Some of you folks, I know, Have been attending for twenty years or more. That is amazing! I hope to make faire attendance a continuing tradition in my life also.
To all of the people who work at the faire....Thank You!!! Whether you are part of the cast, gate crew, or the vendors, or the maintenance, or the entertainment, I really appreciate the amazing job you do and I am grateful! All of your efforts paid off. I found the cast members very friendly and personable, and it was nice having a well-manicured and neatly arranged faire groundscape to walk about in. As far as I am concerned, all of you folks rock. Everywhere I went, I saw plenty of examples of the things that CORF does right for the benefits of the attending patrons. Several times, people working maintenance asked if I was having fun, or if the bathrooms I was exiting needed more paper or whatever. Their concern shows that they were doing their job, and I am very glad of it! It certainly is one heck of a team effort to put on a production like CORF. I just want those involved to know that I certainly appreciated their efforts. Thankyou again....and let's have a great time again next year!
I made a lot of friends this year at faire, and I know that many of us had loads of fun. My heart felt thanks to all of you for your many kindnesses. Faire-the-well and anon.
Toki Bloodaxe--Captain Tomas de Bereyes, Conquistador
Thank you Toki for coming to faire! Huzzah!
Huzzah for Toki! Here to many more faire adventures.
It was a plesure meeting you and can't wait till we meet again.
Hey Toki- it was great to see you at Home Depot in the electrical aisle where all the light switches are. I had on a pair of shorts and a 2007 renfair t-shirt- so you almost didn't recognize me...
You are right...I almost didn't recognize you. You are much taller in reel life! Yet, in a nice way, much less threatening. And thats good! I must admit that the Renaissance Faire t-shirt did throw me for a loop...but, not for long! I had you pretty much pegged several minutes after I first noticed you standing there by the switches!!
Yes Welcome Toki!
If Sister MC ever graces the grounds of CRF again... Take all those memories of Catholic School and have fun with the fact that you are a noble and make me stay in the dirt. As a noble you have that right. I know you are too nice. I wouldn't take it personally and it may do you a wonder of good to get back at a penguin.
