So what is the first item you are going to buy?
For me it will be a Crêpe.

Being that first day we'll be having the Opening Breakfast, I'll most likely skip the food altogether, so my first purchase will probably be a mead or breakfast beer. :D
the first item I'm going to buy is a new hat at Excalibur..
as for food, probably either breadbowl soup or the teriyaki chicken.. :)
I think I'm in the minority but there aren't really any foods out at fest that I look forward to. Most of the stuff we have on offer is over priced and under spiced. Very disappointing. (Bristol has a marvelous mushroom banger and a portobello burger!). I do, of course, eat during the day and when I must, I like the gyros (which used to be better until CKC took over).
I won't make it this year, so someone please go by and have a sparkling cider and cinnamon ice cream float for me!
A beer
Popover! With honey butter and cinnamon. And a mirror so I can remove all of the cinnamon.
Since they are close to us "back stage" either a Scotch egg, or a breakfast burrito.
Mead! I hate to eat on an empty stomach.
Is there any place on site that sells "muffins"? ::)
I'm very partial to the Beef on Wek...and the Guiness!
There is a food vendor acrossed from the Queen's Pub that sells wonderful Spicy Chicken Wraps and home made chips that I plan to get again.

OK I will. :)
Mornings start out with Scotch Eggs......hold the eggs....
Nothing like fat, cholesterol, and protein to start the day. The alcohol thins it all out in the end.
Thanks, HandsomeJames. I really enjoyed the floats and it was very convenient with the stage next door. Entertainment while you wait and a place to sit while enjoying, it made a really nice treat.
hmmm does the hookah bar count as food/... no.... then Mead and a Crepe!!
Scotch Eggs booth is our (Cigany) morning breakfast routine after the morning gypsy drum jam. As to what I'll have . . . ?? I probably won't decide until I'm standing there to order.
I was very dissappointed the first time I went there . . . I was hoping the "Scotch" in the name indicated a shot with every order. ;D

It was a tent over by Mac's Pub last year.
Hmmmmm... Let's see... Well a Beer for sure at Foaming (uh.. not buying it though..) does that still count? Then I want to smell everyones mead.. since mead and I are not friends and I will get a case of the barfs if I drink it.. Oh but I do so love mead.. It's so cruel and unfair!!
Then I will plan to eat all day and won't get it done, and will end up with Chicken on a stick... :P Boooo!! I keep hearing about all the yummy food, but never seem to remember to get any of it... ::)
Ah well.... BREAKFAST BEER!!!!!!!!! It's the most important meal of the day!!! :-*

Make sure they deliver it in a timely manner..... ;)
We don't eat a lot of spinach pie, but we do enjoy saying it! ;) :D
Never--EVER--keep a wench waiting for her spinach pie. >:(
And the survey around the table afterwards..... :-[
Which shall remain a Rendezvous secret, right?

And as always we don't want to contaminate our Alcohol system with any blood. (This would be very, very bad.)
Is the Roast Boar going to be back this year?
