I'm making a corset from some linen damask, and it's constructed of four pieces, so there are seams. In the pattern photo, those seams are perfectly matched:

I'm not sure how to go about doing this, while accounting for seam allowances (1/2" in this case).
Any advice?
Gramercy!
Draw out a second reverse copy of the pattern pieces - fron and back. Mark the seam allowances...
Trace the pattern outline off the fabric onto the pattern pieces you want to match: you can only match CF and CB - the side seams will never match as they are shaped (even if it's onlt a straight slanted line... )
Remember to trace a left and a right back and front...
Lay the pattern pieces on SINGLE fabric, with the right side of the pattern UP. Match your traced pattern outlines to the motifs on the fabric. CHECK that your CF and CB patterns match before cutting... Cut.
You'll need to pin/baste the seams to match carefully and check your matching before sewing.
