If you don't have anything to do next weekend, but want to see people in period dress, come to the Iowa/Illinois Quad Cities for "Forget-Me-Not: Victorian Day (http://sites.google.com/site/forgetmenotvictoriandays/) at Oakdale Memorial Gardens (http://www.oakdalememorialgardens.org)". Oakdale is a Victorian garden cemetery, dating from 1856. The event features walking tours of the cemetery, with costumed actors portraying historic figures buried in the cemetery. There will also be period music, and Victorian fashion demonstations. If you're anywhere near the area, come on out! Hours are from 1-5pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids. Kids under 6 are free.
