The wife will probably be there with a couple co-workers on third weekend since she'll be down there on business dealing with the Wells Fargo/Wachovia merger. (I'm already making arrangements with Tony, aka "Shamus the Insulter" up here at MNRF to give her a surprise compliment when he sees her down there.)
He does a wonderful job, I'm sure it will be a trip she'll always remember.
DH and I will be there on opening weekend, on the 11th. We've never gone on opening weekend before. I'm counting down the days!
I'll be there every weekend on cast. I'll have to get some pics up soon so you guys can visit.
Pencil me in for every weekend!
I'm planning on being at Faire on the following Saturdays...
Oct 10 Opening Weekend
Oct 24 Fifth Annual Brew Fest
Oct 31 Halloween Daze & Spooky Knights
Nov 21 Invasion Weekend
Rhiannon, I'm sorry, the full name of DH?
Hibernian -
Nice to finally meet you this weekend. We can't make it for the family weekend but hoping to get down the weekend before. I'll know more at the end of this month.

He really doesn't go by a faire name and he's not part of this site, but you can put him down as Radick.

I believe Tim and Lady J out of Virginia were also looking at that weekend.
I'll be there every weekend on cast! :D
We plan to be there opening wekend and most weekends.
Entertainment schedule is posted on CRF website
Ok, slap Ewan and I on the list for Opening day, 7th and closing weekend.
I'm getting a season pass so uh...a lot of them? :D I'll probably go at least one day every weekend.
Tickets and parking pass ordered on-line!
Request to the forum members who are on cast, how about a picture so we can recognize you. I suspect the R/F pin may not pass the cast garb inspection so we need another way to know you.
M'Lord and I will be there 10/31 (without the boys!)
then I'll be returning 11/21 & 11/22 plus another weekend in between....just not sure which yet.

Crazy pirate, I'm sure your arrival will be announced by a noticible disturbance in the Force. ;)
Let's see; opening weekend, Halloween Weekend (celebrating myne Natal Day!) and closing weekend. There will most likely be additional visits throughout the run!
Yay!! I'm gonna get to meet lots of rennies!!!
We are definitely planning on making the trip down from MD on the weekend of Nov 14 & 15 but to quote Jimmy Buffett, its déjà vu all over again; this time with the other boy. Had to cancel last year's trip at the last minute because our eldest's football team made it to the Super Bowl which was scheduled the same weekend. His team isn't as competitive this year since they are playing up one division. However the youngest is on a team that is just rolling over their opponents and is currently ranked #1 in the Mid Maryland league. So guess when the Super Bowel is scheduled...yup November 14th. So we shall see. Can't make M'Crack weekend because of a Ravens home game.
Per your request Hibernian...

I could probably sneak a R/F pin by the costume people as long it wasn't too crazy...
Should be the weekend of Nov 14 & 15. Can't due family weekend this year.
Femme Falcone we would love for you to come that weekend.
List has been updated and so far, as usual, every weekend will have friendly faces visiting Fairhaven.
Thanks for the photo Sir Sebastian, I look forward to meeting you in person and enjoying our great cast again this year!
Season passes and VIP parking pass arrived today! Huzzah for a rapid response and the Fairhaven Postal Service! Next step is computer card for the lap top in the parking lot, that way I can be at CRF while on call and still log into the company network within the proper 15 minute response time!
Ill be there Pirate Christmas weekend , with the Allison too
You know Nov 14 & 15 is the weekend of the Concord Dog Shows... Molden says I could show in garb then I could make Faire... IG's usually show early! hmmmm.......
I shall now be attending Pirate Christmas with the incredibly lovely Allison, the buxom Sabrina, the skyscraping Thomas, and the rotund and bekilted Malcolm.
much sheenanigans shall be had.
(sigh) If only...
I know... I'd love to hang with you, and see some of that amazing countryside, as well as visit CRF (which, from the website, sounds pretty awesome itself!!!), and I'd love to check out the Lake Norman area also, particularly since I actually recently met someone who has a 115 acre horse farm in the area!
Not to mention all of the amazing R/Fer's I'd finally get to meet!!!
Anyone care to sponsor an itinerant Gypsy for a weekend? Oh, and her adorable renlet, also... :D

Lady Mikayla, your Faire does sound absolutely lovely, and I also hope that someday I'll get to visit you all there! It would be my pleasure to meet so many of the wonderfully welcoming folk who have made me feel so very much at home here on R/F for the last year (and a bit). :)
My new friend with the horse farm lives somewhere in the Lake Norman area, but I'm not certain where, exactly, although I'd love to see it as well!!! He makes it sound quite magical...
With over 500 miles of coastline... he could be anywhere!
I've been looking at the website for the area, and it does seem to be incredibly lovely, but yes, there are lots of little towns around the area! I'm not sure exactly where his place is, but it sounds like a really beautiful area to visit.
Fairhaven itself also looks magical, and there seems to be a wealth of family friendly activities there, as well as a marketplace that looks like it could break me rather quickly!!! :D Maybe next season I'll be able to afford the trip out there, and my daughter is already suggesting ways we can save for it! LOL
I know you'll all have a wonderful time this year, though, and I look forward to seeing the photos!!!
It would be an honor to get to meet you Rani!! I SO hope you can make it next year!
Oh, Tammy... I would be the honored one, I assure you!!! I hope so, to! I've already resolved to cut out a small, but regular, luxury expense from today on, just so I'll have that extra to put in the CRF fund jar... :) We'll get there one way or another!
Raibeart O'Shea and family (and friends) will be there in some capacity every weekend.
Much to my eternal joy. I love CRF.
OH! Hey, if anyone has GARF, Memorial Day pics, I'd like a link to them. :D

Lady Jai....I will make every effort to be there on the 14th. I've been doing my best to keep all the weekends in November open! :D
Dallan....can't help but hope you youngest decides to throw a game or two so you can make CRF this year. ;)
I hate not making opening weekend (we'll be on our way to Saint George's Island) but I've booked lodgings for closing weekend! Yipee!
Lady M, you'll wait for me, won't you? ;)

Well...I guess... for a lil while! ;)
It was a dangerous mission, but my compliments to High'n and his lovely who visited the Galway Hooker to make sure we were good for Invasion Friday and Saturday nights.
They tasted the adult beverages, sampled the food and spoke with the Management. We have been assured that the center table will once again be ours for invasion weekend. A second line of tables along the front wall, still within earshot of the main table but a wee bit quieter (depending upon who is sitting there) has also been secured. Management has also been warned to order kegs of Guinness!
So make your plans now to have dinner with friends at the Hooker that final weekend!
REALLY? They are gonna let us back???
Oh, I get it ... you told them I wouldn't be there!!

Oh they understand you'll be there;
I hope you understand the muzzle they sent over for you. :D
I guess the $200 bar tabs help to get me back ;D
Scotsman,
It's not the bar tab, as you don't pay it, it your entertainment value that lets them let you back in.
The lass and I will be there most weekends. We can be found in the usual place.
Imgaine that ::)
And where will we find you? I know with the two nuns!
I will be where you least expect me. :D
My husband & I will, unless something prevents, attend October 24th with a carful of his work friends & children. Eek. We are hoping, if time/budget allows, to be there with just ourselves on the 25th.
Please just harass me and tell me you're from R/F. I feel bad I haven't logged on in a while, but I want to make some friends and am bad shy :p

I must say....I have never seen Pinn with these two pious ladies!
If you wish, Brother Timothy could speak to the Rev Mother, I'm sure we can find a spare habit.
Invasion head count on final weekend is up to 40!
I know we have more than that, who hasn't checked in yet?
Won't be making it opening weekend, look for me the next weekend.
I am, unfortunately, not going to be at Faire on the weekend of the BrewFest (Oct. 24/25) now. Not enough funds. :'( :'(
I will still be coming on the opening weekend, Halloween, and the last Saturday for the Invasion! ;D ;D ;D
Lady Celduin here (mostly a lurker, painfully shy!)! I will be travelling to Faire with my Lady Femme Falchion on October 31, and hopefully 2 other trips as well (I'm still consulting with my lord to confirm)!
Oy Lady Celduin did we meet at CRF last year?

:o
Having to modify my previous statement. Looks like due to business obligations I'm going to miss the second and third weekends. Planning to make it up by being there the rest of the time though :) Young guy with his head stuck to a camera is probably me, come say hi!
I'm coming next weekend (17th and 18th) with a couple buddies from UNC Asheville. :D Where would ya'll suggest we camp for the night? (I'ma check some other threads for this too.)
Oh my Gods and Godesses, my friends are SO excited- it's going to be great! *grin grin grin*

There is no camping on-site for patrons, look into the KOA campgrounds in Statesville. If you are coming from the Asheville area you should be ok, remember Sat 17th is the Bank of America 500 @ Lowe's Motor Speedway.

OK,
Tomorrow is the start of CRF. Pretty'n and I will be looking for all family member, pets and friends this weekend. CRF 2009 is upon us!
I'll be there with my lovely mom! I'll be wearing the same thing as in my avatar, as it's the only garb I have as yet...so I should be easy to recognize!

Still, once more, once more onto Fairhaven!
An excellent season, see everyone next year.
Awesome weekend ... thanks!
Your welcome, just trying to live up to the standards set by our older cousins to the north! Hope to see everyone next year at CRf if not sooner.
