The days are counting down and faire is almost here. We are planning on being at LoTL on Saturday Nov.7 and Sunday Nov.8 so if you see us there come say hello.
We'll be there, too. Make sure to stop by the Landsknechts camp and say hello! ;D
We'll both be there Saturday and Sunday. It's also not unusual for me to spend Friday on site during the School Day.
With a little luck the weather will be cooled down by the time faire is here. I see the Washing Well Wenches will be back this year.
We will be both be there and are looking forward to it. My wife can't wait to hit the tents with all the shiny "baubles" to purchase.
Lady Maud and I are still going to try (we owe your Court a "return visit") but we just realized we have a performance that Sunday (Florida Pro Musica) so at best we'll only be there on Saturday.
Only 26 days 3 hours and 42minutes til opening cannon.
14 more days!
12 more days!
Well Kathryn from the traffic on this thread we may have the faire all to ourselves.
It's kind of spilled over to the BARF forum. Do stop by Empty Hats and say hello, though! I'll either be there, with the Puckers, or at the Landsknechts camp. Most of my friends are "on duty" there.
Fae is indeed correct. I think the visitors will be far greater than this thread suggests. Looking forward to visiting both Saturday and Sunday.
The Krewe and I will be there! ;D Time to kick off Faire season here in FL!
ALAS, Lady Maud and I will NOT be able to make it up after all.....to much stuff going on that weekend, including a FPM performance on that Sunday......... :'(
Fabio and I are driving up early Saturday AM and leaving mid-afternoon on Sunday. Anyone who wishes to carpool with us is more than welcome, just let me know! :)
8 days...woohoo.
7 more days ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
5 more days. We tried on the new garb and finished my new hat this weekend
and everything is ready to go. Can wait to make some new ren friends.
Well, I survived Halloween weekend, due to the fact that the fire department shut down the venue where I was going to be acting all weekend. Too long a story, but the upshot is ...
My wife and I plan to be there this Saturday. Working on a new doublet to wear with my great kilt.
3 more days for me.
2 more days! :o :o :o
Uhmmm, well I just found the thread. Ha! better late than never.
Spoke with Lord Michael McFukker last night and we will be carpooling up on Saturday. Dredmor is planning on heading up on Sunday in his new Warrior King garb. If you have not seen it yet, it is MOST impressive.
May be bringing up 2 newbies as well with us who want to audition for BARF this year.
May be in me new Ranger garb if I can get enough of it done in the next few days...
Tomorrow I sleep in Tavares! Lady of the Lakes is upon us! Huzzah!

Well Just read that LotL is set in Elizabethan England. My garb is VERY light in that department...
It's H-E-R-E!!! Tomorrow morning!
Go ahead and rub it in. I'll be there Saturday morning. ;D
Alas, I will not arrive until Saturday morning, but I look forward to seeing everyone. And if McFukker is going to be present, we may need to add him as a petitioner to the most noble Clan (well saving my own blood ones of course) at Faire.
Was there at the site tonight. Lookin' good! Break a leg to all the performers who stayed to put on the feast!
How about a roll call for the morning?
I know for sure:
Mickey (and 2 guests)
McFukker
Hector
Seamus
Doug Koserak
Celtic Fae
Woodsman
Anyone else??? Packing up me garb and decided I needs to make me a sword belt tonight...
Mamosa in the parking lot at 9:30...
Working for Emrys Fleet and Johnny Phoenix tomorrow. ;D
Mimosas, eh? That must be why Seamus was staggering around noon when I called him today! :o ROFL
(Edit) Unfortunately, it seems there were more than mimosas involved, and another warning to guard your tankard would seem to be in order... :( I'm sorry, Seamus. Nothing humorous about being tampered with, and I'm glad you're feeling better, my friend.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, even though I did feel a little guilty socializing when I was supposed to be working. Shameless plug here: come watch Emrys Fleet and Johnny Phoenix's shows tomorrow. Not only are they talented performers, but they are some of the BEST bosses to work for, kind and fair. Can't say enough good things about them.
we were there yesterday. I have only attended LOL last year and this year, but was it my imagintion, or were there less vendors this year in comparison to last? We had a great time and had a lot of fun. It was a bit hotter than I was expecting, but that's Florida for you.
Great to see everyone on Saturday, sorry we missed you who came on Sunday...
Next 2 weekends in Sarasota!!!

Huh. Didn't see you at all. Was working.

We were there most of the day on Sunday, but by the end of the day we were mostly down by the Lake in the shade.

I just want to extend a personal thank you for everyone who came up to Johnny Phoenix's hot sauce/DVD cart to say hello, watch the show, and try some sauce samples. Though I couldn't (and wouldn't dream of) leaving my post, it was great to see everyone. This thank you also extends to all of Emrys' fans who came out to show support and to those who admired and purchased his merchandise.
