Title: Reenactor's weekend?
Post by: groomporter on September 21, 2009, 10:19:16 AM
Did Bristol have a little reenactor's weekend to help promote the Chicago Reenactorfest Convention like they did last year?

I wasn't aware of it and don't recall either seeing it or hearing about it, but we didn't attend every weekend this year.  Maybe someone who was there more often than us could answer this.

I think last year it was pretty low key, just a few of the organizers/participants from the convention on site in clothing from the eras they portray.

There was no "official" mention, however there was a costume contest day where reenactors from all time-periods were encouraged to attend in their best and compete for prizes.
