I had my interview this morning and they JUST called me back, and they want me to start next MONDAY!!! So, this week I'm moving back to Texas (after a two year hiatus in the boring h*ll of Louisiana). I can not wait to get back!!
I will have stable job (and it's a pretty good one too), and will be back in the state I love, and best of all- I'LL BE HOME IN TIME FOR TRF!!!
<happy dance>
I can't wait to drag the kiddo out there and meet up with all my forum buddies and finally end this homesick feeling that I've been hauling around with me. I don't know if I'll be doing a camping/employed gig at faire or just visiting yet, but I'll definitely be tracking people down to introduce myself when I'm out there (especially all you shutter-bugs, I'm one myself, and I could sure use some fun photography advice/discussion/etc).
I can't type straight.. i'm just so excited!!!
Congrats! I had that same feeling when I relocated my arse back from Colorado in 2004.
What part of Texas you coming back to?
I THOUGHT about moving out of Texas once...I got homesick by the end of it.
Welcome home!
We'll be moving to somewhere on the north side of Houston (staying at sister's in Porter at first, but hopefully only long enough to find a place closer to work). Work is in Willowbrook, so I'm thinking somewhere along Beltway 8, maybe.
Congrats! And welcome back :)

Huzzah! I too will be moving back to Texas, but not until November.
Welcome home Punster and Riot!
Riot, where will you be landing? Houston, Austin?
I'm happy to see all of our miscreants moving back! HUZZAH!
well, Texas' miscreant tally was already up there- mostly because of TRF- but there's nothing wrong with being an overachiever ;D

Gwen & Riot,
Glad to hear you're moving back. It's always good to have more Rennies in Texas! ;D
Riot,
Before you moved to Florida, were you in the Houston area, with TRF as your
Home Faire?
Have you lived in the Dallas area before? You may enjoy the lower humidity, but it does get pretty cold in January & February.
Take Care,
David Baldock
Huzzah to Riot and PunsterGal moving back!!! HUGS too.
Gwen does the Stable job involve horses? LOL!
See you both at TRF.

LOL Bonnie darling!! No, no horses at the cardiologists, but there's definitely a lot of stubborn animals! Convincing little old men that they DO have to tell us when they change insurances is just about at tricky as breaking a fresh colt, I swear.
